Mogsy
Happy new year, glad to see Moyes has started the new year with a fresh approach to our starting 11!!! NOT!!! Flippin Neville starting and Cahill and Saha! Heits in midfield, and he's bloody dropped vellios and put anichibe on the bench!! Welcome to pain and misery in 2012!! Peter H
Not a single midfielder in their correct position.
LexKing
Commentator says it's an injury. I think that too, he got hurt last game and after that he failed with the ball all the time. Hopefully nothing too bad.
Mogsy
He's obviously going/hoping for a 0-0, I really hope I get proved wrong though. COYB's let's do something special to start the new year!!!
FanchesterCity
Happy new year all! Hope it's a bit better than the last year for you, on and off the pitch. Hopefully, you can start to make that happen today. Fulham 1 : 2 Everton The very best of luck!

FanchesterCity
Typical xmas period game.... a bit subdued. I think yesterday's games were a real exception to the rule. Neither team want to lose, and neither confident enough to go all out attack. Both teams are giving the ball away in a Sunday League fashion (bit harsh, but illustrates a point). FanchesterCity
West Brom appear to go forward with a bit more width than Everton. But still, these hopeless balls into the box with 5 Everton lads defending is more in hope than anything! Too many aimless mid-long balls from Everton - almost like they lack patience. c1982
Fulham 1 : 2 Everton Forget about the finer details - they're just not that important!!! I can 100% say that us beating Fulham will not happen today.
Hafnia
Happy new year gents. Was hoping my first post of 2012 was gonna be: Great set up by moyes, we are all over these, movement and pressing has been top notch, good to see he's dropped the underperforming players and given Barkley a chance. But hey ho, feel sorry for those who made the journey for the first half alone.
Matt
i think the phrase 'utter shite' is the only thing i can think of to describe that...
Bill
We have been the better side Haf, done nothing spectacular but neither have they, we have posed more problems than they have.
barryj
Well sat down to watch this game with my 5 year old son. Trying to get him interested in football and Everton. How can he get enthused watching this performance? Can Neville pass the ball forward? as yet again he seems scared of the ball and passes it backwards or back to the player who passed it to him immediatly. Lets hope for a better 2nd half. New for 2012 a Cahill goal in the second half is my prediction!
Hafnia
i think the phrase 'utter shite' is the only thing i can think of to describe that... It actually made my hangover worse, started heavy breathing etc.
Bill
Utter shite is a bit harsh, we are playing away to a side having a good run, and we look better than them.
smeghead1
Worryingly they look more up for it this half, then again with more than a hint of sarcasm we'l be fine we have Anichebe to call on!!
FanchesterCity
It's as if you've been defensively minded for so long, you've forgotten what it's like to be creative. Wouldn't mind, but Everton have played much better than this recently. They just don't look up for it.
LexKing
Again this same old. We need to change and fast. We need more players on the pitch who are making things to happen(Barkley,Maggie,Straqa) and get rid of those who just seems to wait some miracle to happen when we are just holding the ball on midfield and passing backwards(Neville,Cahill,Saha) . FanchesterCity
Distin's having a cracking game. Ideally, a defender should never HAVE to have a cracking game though!
FanchesterCity
Well done Moyes.... at least looking to change things a bit
LexKing
Well he did almost what i asked, bit of surprise to see Anichebe get time rightaway, but at least his hopefully working hes socks off. Ani went to the wing? Or did we swap to 442.
FanchesterCity
Very hard to tell when you're defending! Looks like it might be 451 !! (or at least 44 1 1)
