Really weird that I heard him on the radio for the first time in probably forty years on Christmas Day. Walked into the kitchen and my wife had it on and asked me if I knew the presenter was an Evertonian. I did of course.

You can't get a bigger opportunity to marketing internationally, than the main antagonist of a hotly anticipated Rocky film, is decked out in Everton garb throughout the entire fight, which takes place at your home ground.

Honestly - it will do more than our marketeers and elstone have ever done. It's surreal - bellew is always wearing an Everton shirt, the fight is at Goodison... U.S fans of the films will no doubt piggy abck onto us through it.

 

That aside - its a good film.
