Liverpool win at Fulham, but the West London outfit are a very poor side, and the shite aren't that much better. Too very average sides fighting it out.

Fuck what they do in all honesty and their nothing game, as its all about us today.

They're doing a ceremony at Goodison to honor Moyes. Deserves this moment of adulation.

Bowing down and giving hero worship of all things, he's not General Zod in Superman II

But still a fine manager

Great moment at Goodison Park for all involved and got the win that was required and great send off for Moyes.

Very poignant day.

Somewhere, there is a man with a giant butterfly net looking for you DK...

Good win, could have been a much bigger win by the sound of things. Bit disappointed Spurs didnt slip up though. Good luck to Moyes, deserves his chance. Going to be a very interesting summer.

Dominant. But, so was Jaskaliaanandnanandnanananenenanan. We were always going to win, though.

Collins too. He blocked at least 2 certain goals.

Excellent performance, excellent send off. Thanks again Moysie, and best of luck...

Well this is the sort of match you won't forget, no matter how many you go to in your life. What an atmosphere, GT3 was rocking for pretty much the whole match, everyone just stood singing for the last 30-40 minutes as well. So much class from everyone who is a part of Everton.

Misery arses.

sadly my dad said the same...my parental respect refrained me from tellin him to stop bein such a miserable cunt and enjoy the banter

good result...decent football..mirallas again showin he has the class this team needs to push on

great send off for moyes and neville..the standing ovations were thoroughly deserved...and tim showing up was an added bonus..we all got to show him how thankful we were...very emotional day to be honest...i was close to filling up..days like today show our supporters are the best around in my opinion

Can't sometimes look beyond the fact we beat West Ham United, a much disliked club team

Missed highlights today, but was present anyway to ascertain what occured, and while not a superlative performance, we played well enough and got the result that Moyes deserved for his 11 years of tenure. Finishing above the (personally) much loathed Liverpool was a great bonus. Once again, well done to all involved, on a special occasion.

Genuinely can't stand these and if we win and it takes us safe above LFC, then you got the best of both worlds.

Fuck what Liverpool do, when all we have to do is keep hold of our own lead and concentrate on our own objectives and see off todays opposition.

Shite winning in West London but the result is going to be immaterial so fuck what they do.

I'm sorry, but i'm getting mixed messages here ;) Should we care what Liverpool do or should we not?

Wow, I expected there to be a dozen pages for this thread. Guess all you lucky bastards were at the game. Thankfully they kept televising for Moyes and Neville's procession through the guard, but cut it off as soon as Timmy came out, which pissed me off a fair bit to be honest. What an emotional day aye! I've never seen a more one sided match, I swear the whole game was just wave after wave of Everton attack.

I think in the end it was 23 goal attempts to 4. Collins and Jaskelainen (sp?) kept the scoreline respectable, but I've never seen a poorer performance from a visiting side this season. If I were a West Ham fan I would be utterly embarrassed with their performance. Either they made us look like Barca, or we made them look like a Conference side. I'd like to think a bit of both happy.png

Farewell Mr Moyes, Mr Neville and (although belated) Mr Cahill. Glad I was able to get over to you lot on the other side of the world earlier this year and get a few games under my belt at Goodison from the Moyes era, albeit very late.

I was confused by West Ham singing 'You'll never win fuck all at us' as if they have some large trophy cabinet back home. Not only did they play shite (one of the worst I've seen at Everton) they're also clearly inbred.

Yeah, great to watch.

Couldn't help noticing that Neville had a grin all over his face.......is it just me or do you think perhaps he has a little secret that may come out after the last game?

What price on him being Assistant coach or some such position? Could leave the incoming manager with a little headache if he wants to bring his own people in as they often do.

They won the World Cup, didn't you know?

They haven't won much, so have to claim for something..

I never did like that asinine statement. 11 men involved on the day and you'd think the only people who made an impression or got the 'victory' were Peters and Hurst. What about everyone else involved who played their part, including our own Ray Wilson ?

It's not all that well documented, but West Ham were not only responsible for England winning World Cup Gold in '66, but were also involved in quite a few other feats and achievements. Let's see.

Mexico 1970 - Brazil were in fact threatened by the Krays before the final event and told they had a big bet on and if they didn't put on a performance then Pele would be kidnapped and held hostage and dipped in a vat of jellied-eels in a secret location near Bethnel Green

Spain 1982 - Paolo Rossi was snatched before the final and threatened with being strapped to a chair and forced to watch every episode of Eastenders that had ever been recorded

Mexico 1986 - Maradona was in fact a big fan and could often be seen down the Mile End road singing 'knees up mother brown' with other celebrated east end figures such as 'Mad Frankie Fraser' and Nick Berry. He did it for them

Italy 1990 - The winning German side were in fact abducted before the game and threatened with a big fuck-off multi-colored feather duster in a secret address somewhere near Plaistow by Alf Garnett and some other undisclosed names, although 'Chas and Dave' may, or may not, have been involved

USA 94 - Robert Baggio was told before the game to miss the final kick or risk a beating by Ray Winstone. (Barbara Windsor wasn't available)

France 1998 - Zinedine Zidane was promised a lifetimes supply of jellied-eels and pie and mash, and a signed autograph from 'Dirty Den' if he put on a performance.

Japan and Korea 2002 - Brazil were in fact great fans of everything East London, from The Krays, to Walthamstow Greyhound stadium, and they put on a special display

Germany 2006 - France were threatened before the final by Eric Bristow and told to lose, or face being in attendance at every Darts tournament from now until the end of mankind, and a years supply of 'East 17' records, for good measure

South Africa 2010 - West Ham were appalled to find not one of the Spanish side that year were true cockneys or born within the sounds of Bow Bells, and so were threatened with being held captive at a secret location near Shoreditch and forced to listen to Spandau Ballet records (they were so much like The Krays), and watch Green Street and sample out of date jellied-eels

Brazil 2014 - we don't know who the winners will be, or do we, in that information has been leaked, that an undisclosed world side has been threatened by some shadowy snide characters, and told to win, or be found hanging upside down ( a la The Long Good Friday) in a pie and mash factory near Plaistow and pelted with fruit by the entire cast of Eastenders, or as a more benevolent gesture, told to win, and do it for the good of the club, and find some snide bank-notes in a dumpster just off Barking Road.

running late today, but here at least were just some examples.
