What would we do with 38million

I'd want more than that just for Fellaini.

You and many others doubtless, but the truth of the matter being, we're going to be fortunate to get anything over £30,000,000 for the Belgian I'm afraid. Don't be surprised when he is eventually sold for around the 25 million pound mark when the time arises. Anyone holding out for 30 - 40 million for the player - sorry to say, it's not going to happen, but agree he is worth that sum when you look at some of the exaggerated and nonsense prices some players sell for today. It's only that, we're simply not going to recieve anything like that amount.

To the issue in question, if I had £38,000,000, I'd probably waste it in goddamn casinos within one calendar year, or possibly much before, but as many people have said, wouldn't accept such derisory amounts for both players, and it's a little late now to be going ahead with new and high profile purchases in this current transfer opportunity window.

Perhaps above all else, I can't even manage my own goddamn money, let alone expect someone else to manage theirs. I can only hope for the benefit of this here thread, they put it to better use, or are a little more prudent with spending and costs.

Better than £35 mil Modric. Football inflation makes Carrick and Barry's £20 mil moves around that figure these days and Felli is miles ahead of them.

Yeah, but those inflated figures are only good if some money-rich club wants to come in and pay way more than Fellaini is worth.. It would also probably that there would be demand from multiple clubs in the player... in which there isn't for Fellaini (Monaco, Man City, Real Madrid, Anzhi, Zenit and a few others are doing the majority of these absurd purchases)... Keep dreaming, Fellaini won't fetch that money..

So gutted, so sick of this whole business, im at a loss for words. Was dying for Baines to say, no I don't want to go, I want to stay at

Everton. But the signs for him and Felli are ominous. Will we ever see the likes of a Matt Le Tissier ( Southampton) or a Steve Bull (Wolves) again).

2 players who despite constant and numerous offers, stayed totally loyal out of sheer love for their club, Both won no honours, but both played

for England. I know Hibbo Loves the club, but those 2 I mentioned were 2 in demand players could literally take their pick, and yet they stayed

We just will not see their like again ever And before anybody says what a naïve post, I,d say its just the hope that one of my favourite players

stays out of love for Everton and us fans. I am a fool to think it.

One bright spark today, got a ticket today for the Cardiff game after I had all but given up. Going with a decent Proper Cardiff fan and I,ll

have to control all urges and sit quietly in a Cardiff stand. But I,ll be watching Everton so im happy.

Players come players go, but that royal blue shirt is forever.

Just leave it Mr Quinn. If people seriously want to believe Everton will bring in up to forty or fifty million for that player alone, then they're entitled to their beliefs, but I've had enough of living in fantasy land sometimes. It's all to do with these fucking rise in prices, where players - good players - are sold for way more than their actual value and in the end you're looking at silly prices that are something of an embarrassment to the players involved.

G Bale - 86 million was it - real value price - 35 million, anything over 40 would be absurd

A Carroll - 25 million, or was it 35 ? FFS - real price valuation - 10 million, anything over 15 would seem too much

F Torres - 50 million - real price valuation - 25 million, 30 would seem a little too much

and so on.

Point being, you can appreciate why many want so much money for Fellaini, to keep up with the other asinine and exaggerated prices of overpriced players and not to feel cheated, but for the last time, we're not going to recieve much over 25 million this time, and I think that's about his real value now (see the above), and furthermore, we make a ten million pound profit from the sale from whence he arrived from Standard Liege.

I would love to see them stay. And as much as we'd love to see loyalty, it is the exception and not the rule. These players have to do what's best for their careers sometimes, and I think it has become an accepted fact that players will move around. The only thing we can expect from them is to work as hard as they can for the club while they are here, and that when they do want/make a move, to handle themselves as professionals, and not make a giant saga out of it. Neither player has been sold yet, and it wouldn't shock me if Baines stays, as he is as professional and loyal as players come today (an opinion of him I will maintain even if he leaves for MUFC).

Why spend any if it when you can sign old players like Barry on loan?

I'm sure there are a few more out there who will allow us to just bank the money for our two best players.

I'm not saying that we should do that, I would be opposed to doing that, but IF we did, the club would probably be debt free by year's end I imagine, although we wouldn't be pushing for Europe. We'd be fighting for top 10 at best.

can Moyes just answer one question honestly for once - why wait for the final day to walk into your previous home and grab our family jewels just because you can and not because you really need them?

- you are picking our eyes out without giving us a chance to find our white stick before the window closes -

Martinez is upset that DK is prepared to talk to Moyes at the last minute - doing Moyes yet another favour and pulling the rug from underneath Martinez's feet -

shame on you Moyes - I would have thought that after 11 years Everton would be the last club on your hit list to give them such a low blow - and then to kick them when they are down - sort of a double whammy for old time's sake -

may whoever is making the decision find the guts to send the plunderers to hell - learn some manners and come back in January at a civilized time to speak to us
