Bailey
Everton (to face Swansea): Howard, Baines, Jagielka ©, Alcaraz, Coleman, Barry, McCarthy, McGeady, Barkley, Naismith, Eto'o Everton subs: Joel, Hibbert, Lukaku, Besic, Atsu, Osman, Pienaar Pretty strong team but a slight surprise to see Lukaku rested. Seeing Etoo and Barkley together for the majority of the game will be interesting to see!
Newty82
Again, a good starting 11 and a solid bench. Should be an entertaining game of good flowing passing football.
Cornish Steve
Distin rested for the Lille game.
Steve_E
Maybe we should try out a midfield diamond some time. Howard Coleman Alcaraz Jagielka Baines Barry McCarthy Barkley Naismith Lukaku Eto'o That would allow us to fit our best attacking players into one line-up? BlueBlood81
Again, a good starting 11 and a solid bench. Should be an entertaining game of good flowing passing football. The strength of who we have on the bench each week is the difference from past years for me. Genuine options these days. Hoping Sammy & Ross run them ragged so big Rom can come on & take advantage around the hour mark. Big opportunity to make up some of the ground we lost early on in the season today. Come on you fuckin blue boys! Allez Allez Allez Ohhhh.

Bailey
Looks like a collarbone injury to Alcaraz. Gutted because he was playing well. Hibbert coming on to replace him. Will be interesting to see how this goes.

Shukes
Looks a good tempo today. Players look like the last few weeks have have them a bit of confidence. Just need to create a few clear chances now.

Shukes
Shelvey reminds me of John Terry, all he does is moan at the reff and then kick players. Lowensda

Cornish Steve
Replace Naismith with Lukaku, and this has to be the most attacking Everton side for quite a while.
JoeQuince
71% possession. Swansea will crack. Today isn't looking like Naisy's day though.
Bailey
Brilliant first half without finishing off any of the moves. We could be 2 or 3 up and it wouldnt be unjustified. We just havent been clinical enough so far. Etoo has been brilliant but he is drifting wide too often and we need someone in there to finish the move off. Barkley, Naismith and McGeady have been hot and cold, the Scotsman the worst of the three and if one of them could just raise their game that little bit we would be getting on the score sheet. Keith B
Bring Lukaku on with about 30 minutes left and I think he'll be able to break through. Swansea has to be tired on defense most of the half.
Lowensda
Barkley feels somewhat wasted on the left handside like. Naismith not great. McGeady inconsistant. Eto'o getting no service. McCarthy (and now) Besic look very good.
markjazzbassist
missed the first half dealing with my son, but i'm in now. sad to see antolin injured, he was really playing well.
