Romey 1878
Very hot and cold for me Podolski. Always better on big occasions or for Germany. Hard for him to be anything other at Arsenal when he was never given a real run in the side. So underused by Wenger.
Peter H
Not likely but strange. Messi just started following a bunch of Chelsea players on Instagram and also the clubs official instagram account. Messis girlfriend also started following chelsea on twitter. Chelsea are putting together a bid worth 200 mil with a little help from Adidas. Could this be possible?
markjazzbassist
I thought they had the transfer ban. Or is that just banned players coming in, players can leave?

markjazzbassist
I think its just players coming in Then go answer your original question yes he will leave. No players coming in means they won't challenge for the title or CL and he will want out. Their administration is so shady, fired the sporting director, puyol left, etc. plus he has the tax fraud case, it's chelsea or man city and that's just scary. Love to see him in England, 'specially as we have Besic to mark him out of the game, but the bookies still think it's unlikely, 1/8 to stay at Barca... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/lionel-messi/club-after-summer-transfer-window Having said that a little while ago it'd probably have been 1/80 so you never know. Hafnia
Messi has won everything there is to win - he's 27 and has played for one club. He has Ronaldo playing his trade in the same league, he has seen his club change several time under different managers and I think he's a little stale now. £200m? Barca would be crazy not to accept that. If he plays for 4 more years at the top level then that is £50m a year plus his wages saved... Messi and his girlfriend have started following Chelsea players on instagram.... I think it is more than possible. Be great to see him in this league. Matt
Looks like Bony is off to City on 200k a week for 30m Keeping in mind Citys FFP restrictions, there will be some out goings either this window or in the summer to balance things out you would think. Could Nastastic be a reality?

Could Nastastic be a reality? I'd love him here but I don't see how we'd afford him (or whether he'd even want to come here). You mention the FFP restrictions so they're going to want to bring in good money for players, they're not just going to let players go for the sake of it. Its not just about getting transfer fees though, especially in Citys case its about getting the stupid wages off the books. They may take a cut in transfer fee if its going to save them 10m in wages over the rest of his contract (75k a week apparently til 2018)
