Apparently the Gareth Barry who played for us on his loan spell has come back from holiday, he has been amazing. You could blame him, amongst a handful of others, that he should've closed down Matic quicker but that was just playing the odds and a brilliant strike. Back to us. We seem very comfortable and almost fearless. The back 4 have been great, especially Stones and Galloway (who is trying to do a 2 man job), as have McCarthy and Barkley. Kone has been so hit and miss, whereas Lukaku seems to be trying but is really not having a good game (bar the hold up and link up for Naismiths second). Neither have been great, both have made their mistakes. Naismith on a hat trick. What where the odds on that even being a possibility. He will get Ivanovic into trouble, I'm sure of it. He has done well at the corners, so unlucky not to have a goal too. Rom is clearly the "worst" player on the pitch, but he has not been bad, just not involved enough. I really think if we don't come out and dominate we will need Lennon on to help defensively. I would like either mirallas or Gerry on at some point to give our attack even more pace.
