Doucoure for me. He was every where and player a big part in us driving the ball forward.

Iwobi looked dangerous but needed a little extra help with the final ball, and at fault for the first goal. Richi looked dangerous too but needed players to get closer to help him.

Davies, solid defensively but needed to take more risks getting forward. Similar the whole back four.

Sigurdsson. @Bailey summed him up perfectly in the match thread plus made me laugh. Siggy was a bit of nothing in the advanced role and the decision to move him deeper dumbfounded me. I wouldn't say he was playing badly further forward but he could have been better. I wasn't kicking the cat whenever the ball came near him, which I usually do in games like this. Carlo must not like cats though and that is the only reason I can think that moving into the deeper role was deemed to be a good idea

I was happy with most performances today. City just ground us down in the end - chasing shadows, their moment and quality on the ball is top draw and very strong without the ball.

Could have choosen Davies, Doucoure or the ever improving Richy. But i have gone for Coleman, he has not been in the team much, but put in a good shift last night when he came on.

Agree with what's been said Doucoure continues to look a beast, Richarilson is looking much  more himself and is probably enjoying a chance to play up top, even if it is with limited service.

Davies had a few mistakes where he tried to do too much with it then lost or played a sloppy pass but worked really hard, won the ball back a few times (4 in fact, more than anyone else) and generally did a good job.

Iwobi I was impresed with also, was good on the ball when we got it, some good feet and looked to get forward with it.  As has been said, doesn't always get that final ball right.

Digne apart from that one poor ball in the second half when he was free to tea up Richarlison looked good in midfield, a good move in a game like this I think where had he been at left back he'd have never got forward and we really need his attacking influence.

I couldn't really slate anyone, they all put in a shift and in patches, especially in the first half look threatening on the break and doing enough defensively.

Hopefully they can mix that with a bit more of the ball and attacking play on Saturday
