Harrison or McNeil don't shit the bed, we're 2-0 up and likely take all 3 points. At that point in the game we were looking anything but negative.

Harrison and McNeil - piss poor all game yet stayed on the pitch for over 80 minutes?! That's the manager.....

there is never any sustained periods of play where we look like punishing a team.  Dyche sets up a team to not concede.... that's it

Guys… the whole team were shit today. That was poor no doubt about it. Nothing in the middle at all.
Onana looks like he is already gone.
Said it a million times but Garner isn’t a central midfielder, he needs to be on the side of a a three man or put him on the right side and let him put balls in.

Branthwaite was decent, and so was Myko.

How many league games without a win? Is it 9.

last manager in charge to go on a winless run like this?

some statto on here will hopefully know.

Currently at 9. Last win was at Burnley 0:2 on December 16. Last home win was December 10 vs. Chelsea 2:0.

Romey's earlier post mentioned that we went 12 straight matches without a win to start the 1994-95 campaign. Looking online, it looks like Mike Walker was the manager at that time. He would be sacked about a week after we got our first win that season.

The deflected shot that was headed into the corner

FFS were you listening to the commentators ? Nothing great about it. If it went in with Pickford in goal you would fume

I kinda wish we'd just been shit and lost today. I know what to do with that - just get angry and vent on here about it. But today we played the best we have in a while, had enough chances to win it and somehow contrived to lose it 3-1. So I just feel sad and don't really know what to do with that or how to combat it.

Pickford - Other than picking the ball out of his net I don't remember him having much to do?

Godfrey - He really limits us. For once he wasn't constantly drifting central but he just is not a good defender. And then he's awful attacking-wise.

Tarkowski - Loved the Hollywood ball but he did it a bit too often.

Branthwaite - A couple of mistakes but on the whole solid.

Mykolenko - It's a wonder he didn't get torn to shreds today because McNeil was absolutely nowhere. It's testament to him that he held up well.

Harrison - Today he got into some great positions to put the ball into the box but the majority of the time it was a poor delivery. He constantly disappointed me.

Onana - I thought he had a decent game today tbh but, honestly, the only thing that I vividly remember is that fucking shot that he skied.

Garner - Fuck me, he was bad. Like Dunc said in another thread, the third goal summed him up today. Puts a poor corner in that hit the first man and got a reprieve from the ref and got to take it again. Then he proceeded to do the exact same thing and hit the first man. Ball comes back to him from that and he goes and sets West Ham racing at our goal! He did put a delightful ball in to Beto for our goal though, but that was probably the only positive thing he did all game.

McNeil - Like I said in his thread, it was a lazy a disinterested performance from him. I think it took him 15 minutes to touch the ball for the first time and what did he do with it? Smashed it backwards to no one to give West Ham a corner. It just carried on from there really.

Doucoure - The best he's looked since his return from injury. Still very much working his way back to fitness though.

Beto - He still refuses to jump for headers but I thought he used his body well today and had a really good game. I was actually surprised, and a bit disappointed, to see him come off tbh. He didn't look tired and he was still causing West Ham problems. The penalty was horrendous like, no doubt about that.

Results went our way today to limit the damage, but it's annoyed me that we should have won that and took ourselves clear.

I said exactly the same last game or the one before and made Mykolenko my motm.
Dyche needs to find away without him in the team, he’s more of hindrance than a positive.

I don't often disagree with your player summaries however i thought Garner was the best of the midfield and Douc's was pretty bad today. However, when watching on TV its impossible to grasp the whole picture.

After mellowing out a bit I feel the lack of depth in the wing position is really hampering us at the moment.

Godfrey, honest type & you can see the effort but as you've mentioned he just kills our attacks and any attempt at passing football.

  • Tomas Soucek has scored more 90th minute winning goals in the Premier League than any other West Ham player (3). Three of the Hammers’ last four such goals have been scored by Soucek.

  • Everton are winless in their last 10 Premier League games (D5 L5), including all seven so far in 2024 (D5 L2). It’s their joint-longest winless run from the start of a calendar year in their league history.

  • Beto became the 31st player to take a Premier League penalty for Everton, and the 23rd to fail to score one, with only Arsenal (24) having more different players miss from the spot. It was the 27th Premier League penalty saved by a West Ham goalkeeper, three more than any other side.

  • James Ward-Prowse provided his seventh Premier League assist of the season for West Ham, his joint-most in a single campaign in the competition (also 7 in 2020-21). Six of these have come from a set-play, more than any other player in the Premier League.

  • With Richarlison scoring for Tottenham and Kurt Zouma for West Ham today, this is the first time Everton have had two former players score against them at Goodison Park in a single Premier League campaign since 2005-06 (Gary Speed and Wayne Rooney).

  • Everton had 21 shots against West Ham. It’s the fifth time this season they’ve had 20 or more shots in a Premier League home game, but they’ve ended on the losing side in three of them (23 v Luton Town, 24 v Manchester United).

I'll give him that he didn't hide as much as he has in recent games but he just seems like he's playing without any confidence in himself at the moment. Which is the complete opposite to what I've thought of him in the past when I felt you could give him the ball in any situation, no matter if there were opposition players in close proximity.

Maybe I'm being overly harsh due to the third goal.
