No there doesn't seem to be any other option.
The choice of staying as we are or being bought by 777 is a bit like asking me if I want to be kicked in the balls or punched in the face.

Just a shame that we couldn’t manage that in the Luton game, we’d have been flying. Same again in the next one fellas.

Tarks - assist, goal, shots blocked! quality at both ends of the pitch.
Lots of other good performances on Saturday - We have some decent size lads on the pitch and we should look to bully teams physically - this should be the benchmark. I want teams to be dreading playing Everton - and not see us as easy pickings.

His 250th club appearance as well...hard to believe.

I felt like a proud dad when he scored. The stick he took when he broke his cheekbone took the piss and I hope it's fuelled his fire to ram it down their throats.

I don’t think any are to be honest. As fans we all want the best for our club.
I clapped Lukaku for the goals he scored, nothing to do with him wanting out and making demands. For that he received my criticism.
I have paid to watch us while we are at the top, and I’m paying to watch us while we’re at the bottom. Because I am a massive Everton fan.

I don’t support Bill, as I didn’t support any other chairman before. It’s always been the club for me. If we get relegated…. I’ll be supporting a championship team. If we get relegated again…. I’ll be supporting a league one team.

I’ll continue supporting the club I love till the day I die I guess.

Starting with the resurgence this afternoon….. COYBs!!!!! Let the climb begin!!!

    You're probably right Matt overall.
That Arsenal match had me really deflated though. We looked exactly like we did under  Fat Sam. It is one match in isolation though and not fair on Dyche overall.

🍆 really 😂 From my perspective this is starting to become very depressing we all need to lighten up including myself and show some positivity even if delusional, otherwise we will all be signing off just to save what’s left of our sanity😇

I'm not trying to be a dick about it but the heads down already when there's factual proof of improvement is just so frustrating to watch, I feel compelled to remind people. If we'd had 1 point after 5 and seen no effort, few shots on target etc. I'd get it. But we've been robbed by officials and denied by monster keeper performances, otherwise we'd be sitting on 7 points comfortably and who knows, that might've bred confidence enough to go at Arsenal and Sheff United more.

This sounds how football should be run.
Whenever you go over there, you find that tickets are cheaper, as football isn’t made for the rich…. It’s for fans.

As I've said previously in this thread back on August 14th...
The 777 model is to drive additional revenue through the fan base. 777 also own insurance companies, credit companies etc. They're looking for fans to buy Everton branded insurance etc.
Our revenue through sponsorships etc. ranks very well (8th best I think) given where we've finished in league in recent seasons. We're regarded as performing well here.
I fully expect season tickets, items purchased at the ground and for these Everton branded products to be pushed at us through membership and websites etc.
Success needs money to invest. Money to invest for football clubs either comes from sugar daddy owners or the fans. The global size of fanbase ultimately drives sponsorship revenues . Global fanbase  primarily grows based on success.
So it's sugar daddy or fans. I'd suggest Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea are your sugar daddy model and Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham are your fan funded model.
    Which is it you want?

Name me one successful Premiership club ( that has won something or consistently qualifies for Europe that is run as a sound business "focusing on improving squad value and lowering squad costs".
Yes we need to be a better run club, but it is still good and large investment in players that wins stuff. This is not an ownership model where we will start to win stuff again for me.

Just read a piece saying that he's actually worked miracles financially for us in this window.
Allegedly, the only fee that has been spent is the £3m loan fee for Danjuma. Beto and Chermiti fees have both (allegedly) been kicked down the road until the start of the next fiscal year.
If true, he's done a great job.
