Elston Gunnn reacted to Btay in Leicester (Away) 1st May
Boys did well to get a point & overall performance minus the horrendous errors was good.
Dyche absolutely shat the bed there. 2 points dropped for sure.

Announcer: "Everton have given it everything". No, no they haven't because the have 4 unused subs on the bench

I can only thing that Dyche holds grudges like an elephant and the lads on the bench have all done something to get in his bad books.
Is our bench any good? No, it's awful, but a mole rat could see that we just needed legs for the last 20 minutes. FFS

It’s the same old story, can’t believe how many dozens of games we’ve seen it the last 3 or 4 seasons and last 3 or 4 managers.
Total inability to take chances followed by catastrophic errors by the same old players.

Keane and Iwobi off for Coady and Gray. Need to get back in this. Might even want Mina just for set peices. Maybe we could nick a goal from a header.

We need the mentality of having to win three games and nothing less will do.

Elston Gunnn reacted to badaids in Newcastle H 27 April
The last 3 or 4 years we have never solved our inability to finish and stop making appalling individual errors.
Literally 8 games out of 10 that’s what has cost us so badly.

Yeah I still can't get over Gueye deciding to have a shot in the first half instead of passing it to someone with feet.

Once again player brain farts have totally killed us tonight.

The classic Everton self destruct is back...

Elston Gunnn reacted to Aidan in Forest (Away) 5th March
It's hard to take positives when realistically this is a game we need to win.
We're going to have to go on a hell of a run at goodison if we are to stay up. Edging closer and closer every week to the championship with very little inclination that this squad are currently mentally strong enough to avoid the drop.

Doucouré’s shirt over face is unfortunately the symbol of multiple lost opportunities, giveaways and inability to finish, the whole season long.

Hoping to get to 37-38. I think we’re likely safe at 38, down at 36, with 37 the goal-difference point. So today’s result was disastrous.
This Sunday’s match with Forest is a 6-pointer. They are among probably 8 teams in the relegation fight. They have 25 points from 24 matches, while we’ve only 21 from 25. They are one of the few away matches we might take 3 points from.
There simply aren’t many teams we can get 3 points from, and a bunch of draws against teams like Forest will not get us to 37-38.
Hope none of Bournemouth (@ Arsenal), WHam (@ Brighton), Leeds (@ Chelsea), or Wolves (H to Spurs) take a single point this weekend. Guess a draw between Soton and Leicester would do.
Most important, we must win Sunday.

Love that from dyche. Literally “you fucked up and should know better” - off you go.

Striker issue aside, we concede some really poor goals.

How many times this season has he put under pressure like that? We can't afford to have that in the team right now. Really needs benching because he's cost us several goals this season.

No it won't need 40 points. But if I were a supporter of the clubs around us I think I would take some comfort in the fact Everton struggle to score even though they create the chances.

Good thing it’s not in our feet.
