I’ve seen so much shit defending the last fella saying you can’t do anything with these players, they are all shit, they don’t care, they have no quality. It might have been Brentford, but a team without DCL or Doucoure, had Godfrey go off injured early on, had about four days training with Frank. Suddenly these shit players can pass a ball, control a game, one touch passing, build play right across the pitch, and most importantly score four goals!
Either Frank is a wizard or the other fella was not as good as he claimed. 
 
Frank has got me hooked again, if we win on Tuesday I’m not sure I can handle the optimism. 
 
Also, Andre Gomes looked like Andre Gomes today. That was lovely to see. When he’s confident he looks taller, stronger, faster, more of this please. 

I actually think his 'failure' at Chelsea will benefit us.
We've now got a manager that is even more hungry to succeed and prove people wrong, and he sounds very much like he's grateful that Everton have given him the opportunity to do that. He was a player that did whatever it took to succeed and I think he'll be exactly the same as our manager. That will involve ruffling a few feathers along the way and I am here for it big time, winning is everything and if some players/members of staff/board members can't take the heat then fuck them.
I don't even care if he ultimately sees us as a stepping stone to somewhere else because he's only going to that somewhere else if he does something pretty special here. That's perfectly acceptable to me.

When DCL is fully fit he can get back in but right now I like Gray, Richarlison and Gordon, all press really well and put in a lot of work.

Everything about today felt different. I woke up looking forward to the game, the atmosphere in the pub beforehand was so much happier, the atmosphere in the stands was so much better (you could physically feel it).
I worried it was all misplaced when the team was announced and my heart sank a little at the 3 CB's... but the change in atmosphere in the fans really did translate to the players. They played actual fucking football and wanted the ball - they made themselves available to receive it at every opportunity. For me Allan and Gomes were absolutely key to that victory today - the way they got into positions to receive the ball and then would quickly move it on to get us moving forward. You could see what was evident in the training videos translated into actual gameplay with those triangles and we did "enjoy the ball" and "used the 6". We had a plan and we executed it - what the actual fuck is this wizardry?
Yeah, we had a few shaky moments but he's been in the job for 6 days and already you can see a difference. This is football I can get behind and support even when there are teething problems, because it's positive and not that negative shite we've sat and watched all season so far.

This just highlights the clusterfuck that was the previous manager, Lampard is everything this club should aspire to and more. From easily the worst team in the league (IMO) to being 4-1 up against Premier League opposition, with their goal being a penalty.
We've looked brilliant all afternoon, absolutely fantastic. Play like this every week and those relegations fears are but distant memories.
