nyblue23 got a reaction from Bailey in Burnley ( Away ) Wednesday 6th April
Knew Aaron Lennon was good for something.

This is one strategy. Just score from the spot because we have no final ball ability.

Best game Michael Keane has had in a while. Looked composed.

Is that us down then? Don't see us getting a goal here.

Really? I'm sure we agree that "many" is not one or two or three. So, I assume you believe "this squad of players" got four managers sacked. That would be Benitez in 2021, Silva in 2019, Allardyce in 2018, and Koeman in 2017. When did current players join our squad?
2009: Seamus Coleman
2016: Mason Holgate
2016: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
2017: Jordan Pickford
2017: Michael Keane
2018: Richarlison
2018: Yerry Mina
2019: Alex Iwobi
2019: Andre Gomes
2019: Fabian Delph
2020: Allan
2020: Abdoulaye Doucoure
2020: Ben Godfrey
2021: Andros Townsend
2021: Asmir Begovic
2021: Demarai Gray
2021: Salomon Rondon
2021: Anthony Gordon (in effect)
2021: Jarrad Branthwaite (in effect)
2022: Vitaly Mykolenko
2022: Donny van de Beek
2022: Dele Alli
So, are you suggesting that all the blame rests with Coleman, Holgate, Calvert-Lewin, Pickford, and Keane?
And before you claim I'm being pedantic, more than half our squad weren't even around when Silva was manager - the last to be fired before Benitez. It's ridiculous to suggest "this squad of players... has got many managers sacked".

Whereas I've been critical of Coleman in a footballing sense (and rightly I'd say), he's a fucking excellent captain. All the attributes you'd want in such a ranking.
Fair play to him for calling out Craig Pawson too, the fucking drip.

It’s been 10 v 12 up to that goal but the 36,000 behind the 10 have made the difference here.

All started from Coleman. He stepped in, won the ball when he wasnt favourite to.

Some players in there that need a big big game here.
I don’t like the line up one bit though. We need a 3 man midfield and Coleman’s crossing is so so poor plus his legs are gone.

Ooompphh that is not a line-up to get excited about.

Apparently Shelvey and Joelinton out. At least with Shelvey out, we can be confident no one will get their ankles broken.

I haven't got the heart to read all that has been said today, but i have been watching the blues since 1958, and i have never seen such fear in players eyes than i saw today, we have had a lot of good times over the last 60 odd years, and some bad, but not even the last game of the season against Wimbledon, i still had hope then, but for the first time, i can not see a way out, second in every tackle, when our existence in the top flight is at stake is shameful.
Like the majority on here i have not seen us relegated, and at 68 i don't want to start now. I try not to get to down, but every player out there just did not want to be the player that made the big mistake, our passing was awful, our pressing was non existent, we as a team have accepted the worst. The new manager has the responsibility to at least send a team out with hope, and fire in the belly, and see were that takes them, but no hope, no fire, no passion, and that comes from him. I don't know were we go from today, in my eyes that was worse than the spurs game, that was lost with mistakes, today was pure fear.

I think he is a very good player, but that's a bit of a push.

Many have said it on here, but it bears repeating. We need to make Goodison an absolute fortress from here on out, it needs to be Leeds-level raucous every match.
Because we aren't going to get anything out of any of our remaining away matches.

Probably should be a moratorium on barbs at each other as we are all feeling very raw at this point.

He should never start for us again. I don’t care if Patterson is still raw, give him the rest of the season.

If Michael Keane never played for us again I'd be happy.
39 seconds in and it's 4-0 .
