  1. Genuinely one of those chances where it was probably harder to miss than score, not sure why Doucoure hit it so early when he received the ball in a different postcode to the West Ham defenders.

2-0 on 60 minutes would be virtually game over, so disappointing that he made a hash of it.

I surpose Jordan is like Marmite. You can see he was genuingly fond of BK.

Simon Jordan is great, enjoy listening to Talk Sport when he's on air. Interesting insight into the relationship between FM and BK, the more that is said the more Moshiri comes across as an utter lunatic.

It's sad that Bill couldn't step away sooner, had he done so I think he would have been considered something of a hero.

  3. Don't listen to TalkSport, back to back calls about them naughty Evertonians calling for a better club. The media agenda is in overdrive as expected, some absolute shite being spouted.

As for Bill, never nice to hear about anyone passing. He was a husband, father, grandfather and that carries weight - any human being leaving this place is something to be respected.

He's always given me the impression of someone who's viewed us as a shop window to move to a bigger club

Not that you can blame him - anyone other than an Evertonian would be looking to get out of here sharpish, especially if clubs of the ilk of Liverpool were sniffing.

  5. Between a rock and a hard place in the sense that we're absolutely dogshit so almost need to park the bus, but by doing so we've got absolutely no chance of winning the game. Once Young was sent off it was curtains, daft cunt should hang his head in shame for being to naive (and generally for being a shit footballer).

Dyche for all the praise he gets needs to seriously, seriously fuck off with the constant backing of Michael Keane. Back in the team and a colossal fuck up for their penalty, looked like he was calling a bus rather than trying to defend the cross. Looked in real time like it was blasted at his arm but on the replay, like Young it's just naive.

Disappointing to lose as always, onto the next one I guess. Just frustrating how in this fixture (especially at Anfield) it always seems to turn into a ''do not lose'' rather than a ''lets get the three points'' mission.

The last fifteen minutes of ten Hag's United career coming up?

He's saved himself a few weeks there, but they're in massive, massive trouble. I thought that he would get time considering what he's spent and how many managers they've been through, but he could be gone by Christmas at this rate.

Think they'll get absolutely battered by City in a week or two.

  7. 777 are coming, so I'll not rabbit on about the negatives that I think they will bring. It's a clean slate, I'll reluctantly give them time.

What I will say is that 1) They have spoken with the fans, which is a lot more than the current clampet has done recently and 2) They acknowledge the current mess that the club is in, no "I would like to place on record thanks to the wonderful owner" or "What a monumental figure Bill Kenwright" has been.

It could well be PR rubbish, but on face value fair does to 777. As I said to my old man, they can't be any worse than Moshiri & Kenwright, surely?

  8. Dyche was the right appointment to get us out of a relegation battle, a little bit like Allardyce. He's only ever built squads to finish 17th (other than that freak season where Burnley got into Europe).

If we pull the trigger now it should be an upcoming manager to replace, hiring relegation manager whilst helpful at the back end of the season when shit is hitting the fan are not the pioneers that I'd like to see in the long run.

It's probably why I hung onto Lampard for so long, I thought with time he would come good - nowhere near the same bracket but a little bit how Arteta was horrendous at the start with Arsenal then got them flying.

That’s why I said let’s not get carried away with dyche.  He stumbled on the midfield partnership to work the other night, had Jack Harrisom looking great on the right.

he reverts to a cowardly 4/5/1 at home to a shite team.

the man isn’t up to it.

4-5-1 is a sackable offence on its own against Luton. Cowardly and not needed, the only team in the league you should be absolutely attacking with all guns blazing.

I'm not on Dyche's back because I can't be arsed sacking another manager, but he's a bit shit I must admit.
