This is the Eddie Howe standard I have always expected to see.
He's so overrated.
but but but he's English, has a nice smile and famously won a few games with Bournemouth?

Heading to the in-laws today as is tradition on Christmas Eve for me. Not sure if I'll be online so wanted to wish everyone on TT the best Christmas and a happy New Year when it comes around.
Genuinely love coming on here and honestly believe that there's proper debate when needed, I think we all get along which is rare on message boards! Long may this place continue - UTFT!

I want to know who decided he could take it I knew he wouldn’t score and I felt the same with Gana Pickford should have been a taker.
Sean Dyche probably.

Might get a bit of shit for this but I don't think his penalty was arrogant at all. I think he's a young lad and just panicked to be honest - it's the last penalty and he's had a major brainfart trying to just get it over and done with. He took is unbelievably quickly from when the referee blew his whistle.
I can sort of see what he was trying to do, although that doesn't change that I think it's a stupid decision and he should rightly get a bollocking in the morning for it.

I had a bad feeling when Gana stepped up. He should be going last when it comes to any type of shooting.
To be fair I was convinced both Keane and Danjuma would miss as the first is hot and cold and the other looked terrified.
Pickford scored a beautiful penalty for England against Switzerland so I was surprised he didn't step up tbh, especially alongside the likes of Gueye.

I was always under the impression that Baines was one of those players that didn't really like football, but was just blessed with being really good at it.
Guess I was wrong as he's coached and will soon be managing on his own. Like @Matt I thought he would go into musical projects.

I completely understand that the game evolves over time but I will argue with anyone that the best way to take a penalty is to have a long run up and twat the fucking thing. What the actual fuck was Onana thinking? He's a young lad, he'll learn but absolutely fuck me. Game winning penalty and he does that. I just don't know what to say.
Pickford got a good hand to at least three too, we're cursed and you can't convince me otherwise. When the time comes to knock down Goodison there will be some weird voodoo shit under the pitch.

battled well to get to this point.
would love some Pickford heroics
Wouldn't bet against Pickford taking one tbh.

That Danjuma chance might come back to haunt us, bloody hate penalties when it's either Everton or England involved.
We were the better team by miles tonight, get the job done lads.

Made up that Forest are going for Nuno, that puts them right in the mix for going down as he's absolutely dogshite. His only real achievement is promoting Wolves with a budget much bigger than the rest of the division.
Failed at Al-Ittihad and spectacularly at Spurs. I don't think they'll actually go as the Luton, Burnley and Sheffield are a special form of turd but they'll be nailed on 17th.

I get a shirt every year, it's a bit of a tradition but without sounding like a tight arse I'm getting less and less bothered by them. £60 for what (IMO) haven't been great shirts for a few years, the only recent ones that were 10/10 was the Umbro kit with navy (the one where Lukaku scored about 90 goals) and the Hummel that James Rodriguez played in.

Everton are not great for my bumhole.

Oh my giddy arse I thought McNeil had scored there.

I think there's more chance of Oscar Pistorious using his right foot to put it in the top corner than Dwight McNeil, Jesus.

Definitely not a surprise. I've always strongly disliked their fans, they're a horrible lot.
Edit - they're like our lovely friends from across the park, just without the trophies to back up their ego.
Excuse me, Ant & Dec have won the TV Awards 19 years in a row?

Will it be double figures? Is this the fixture that kicks us on to a phenomenal league title? Who out of Beto or DCL will score their hat-trick first? Will Goodison Park serve beer in actual proper cups?

I can't even be arsed getting angry anymore, I'm properly numb. The referee points to the corner, City players surround him and he bottles it and changes his mind. I'm getting so bored of every week shouting about how bad the officiating is in this country.
The games on its arse.
