The players are there mate. Richarlison, Iwobi, Digne etc will run themselves into the ground. We’ve got some top plates. I think Kean the striker will come good too.
 
Keane is poor. Sigurdsson is technically a very good player but doesn’t dominate/dictate games he just floats in and out of them. We are a man down at times with him in the pitch.

Iwobi is/has been rubbish, with spurned chances and failed challenges

Ive been resistant to giving him the nudge but my patience has gone now. I was happt when he was appointed but now think hes had enough time and is out of his depth with expectancy here.

That was toxic at the end, felt like the last days of Roberto Martinez all over again. I've always tried to find the positives in Silva, but I said I'd personally give him the Southampton and Norwich games and we've taken three points which isn't enough. It wasn't particularly the defeat (although it's unacceptable) but the manner of it. Playing two defensive midfielders against a team set up for a draw with 4-5-1 is laughable and it showed as we created the square root of fuck all until the last 20 minutes when we swapped Schneiderlin for Iwobi. 
The squad is good enough to beat most in this league but a managerial team of Marco Silva and Luis Boa Morte just isn't working, it's time for change. Unfortunately, Benitez is on massive bucks in China so I don't know why he would swap a holiday in Asia for an absolute shambles at Goodison. People in the stands asking for Pochettino need to give their head a wobble, will get a Steven Gerrard tattoo if it happens.

Unless Siggy is on fire he really reduces our attacking fluency. Today thus far he has been poor and we have been poor.
 

Cenk has been woeful, Siggy has been woeful, Morgan has been woeful, as a result we have been shit.
None should have started.

Disagree agree sorry...why would player performance dip because they saw through his bollocks. The season before they were ALL on a high with such a good prev season.

People seem to have erased just how shit it was at the end of Martinez’ reign here. I wasn’t far off being as bored as I was with Bisto Tits. 
 
His first season though, that was an absolute joy. I thought we were seriously going places. 

1st game of the season for me in the flesh. Cant wait. Daughter in tow too.
Oddly, her last game was Norwich in the league cup - think it was Bobby Martins time.
Goal-fest would be really nice but a win will do to keep us moving up the table. Awful run of fixtures to come - although sometimes that suits us.
Agree with keeping Tosun in - although not sure what DCL has done wrong to not start recently. Our injuries not all9wing for mych change in the line ups - Iwobi I guess could start.
