Great 1st half, we need to make sure Patterson gets more help against Grealish Harrison and Tarkowski are leaving him very exposed, and if we don’t address it I can see them getting back with a Grealish goal or assist.

I thought we were comfortably the better side for the 90 minutes. We let ourselves down with some poor defending and poor finishing the other end.
Performances like today make me believe even more that we'll win a fair few more games this season. We're a good side and we played some lovely football today as well, which isn't something we've done a lot of.
We may very well lose 2 in a row with City coming up next, but it's important not to overreact to that or the loss today because we're very much heading in the right direction.

No idea how we haven't taken something from that. Had VAR not overturned that goal, i think we win that game.

So many times he had an easy pass to play someone in, but he decides to run into a player for glory instead. 
So frustrating when he looks up and sees them as well, but decides to ignore them.

what pisses me off is that the ref had a clear view and let play go on. Yet VAR calls it for an offside and then when that doesn’t work looks for the foul.
it reminds me the England batsmen given out, Botham I think in Pakistan given out for a nick behind and when he questioned was told: ‘ah if you didn’t nick it then you were out lbw’.

I am expecting a bit of a hang over from being knocked out of the cup this week. I also think Spurs havings mid week off will have a significant bearing on the game. I would not be a suprise if we saw a bit of a dip in what have become our normal away performances.
