This is what I’ve been saying to everyone and it’s not been highlighted anywhere. Sky Sport conveniently ignore this in the Ref watch. AG even mentioned this in his post match interview. The stand on the foot is for me the bigger foul but the fact he pushes at the same time is why this is as clearer pen as you’ll see. Dermot then goes on to say I’ve seen them given and also not given and he would fall down on the side of no penalty! 😂 I don’t want to sound like a raving conspiracy theorist but the decisions we get there have been and continue to be ludicrous.

I just don’t get why people hate Lampard, he took on a right poison chalice with this job. We aren’t in this mess because of him we are in this mess because we have been constantly chopping and changing managers and some people want to do it all again
IMO whatever happens he should keep his job. If we go down why sack him?
Who do people think are going to want the job if we are in the Championship next season? Also it’s not just Lampard, he has put together a very good back room team and I think they need to be given time

I usually like him but just from the snippets I've seen I've decided it'll just make my blood boil if I read it.
Did he, and others, just expect us to go there and get our tummy's rubbed and take a heavy beating?! They've just dismantled Man City ffs. Their players are on a completely different planet to ours, both in confidence and ability.
Like I mentioned before the game; we were risking a pasting no matter what we did. Sitting in and playing like we did was dangerous, but for an hour the tactics worked and if the officials actually do their jobs well and had we taken the few opportunities that fell our way then it's job done and we have something to defend.
For me, Lampard got the tactics right. He was rightly criticised for not being pragmatic in other away games since he arrived, like the Spurs game, and now he does and he's getting stick for that as well.

No idea why I must be glutton for punishment as I’ll be watching with the ridiculous hope that some miracle might happen. I used to go into these games with a glimmer of hope but that extinguished many years ago now.

Our players were good away when there was no one there watching.

Last season we went there expecting to win, and we did, how things have changed.

We'll be eager to steal a point in order to stop them winning the league, so I shall predict a draw. We stopped them winning the league a few years back, so let's do it again. They'll enter the game way over-confident, so let's take advantage of that.

No matter what people's views are on Keane it would be idiotic to throw someone as fragile as Mina straight back in. How did that work out last time? Oh yes, we had to use a sub on him after 20 odd minutes because he's made of candyfloss.

There's no way he's even 70% fit if you ask me. When Iwobi threaded a ball through to him to run on to there was absolutely no acceleration in his legs to get on the end of it.

The press conference is clear. I don't see how there can be any dispute over its context.
You just don't like being wrong and it being pointed out to you in black and white. You just go on these offensive rants and ironically everything you accuse me of is contained within your own posts (whataboutery, needless debates, vanity, not accepting being wrong etc etc.).
I am here to talk about Everton and I won't stop doing that. If you don't like what I have to say then it is very easy to block my posts.

Worth the long drive today. Boy we needed that. More relief than anything else today. There were some really good individual performances in there.

Fantastic post and almost word for word how I feel. I’d probably say it was Mykos best Everton performance to date and he has a real motor. I’d also probably be slightly harsher on DCL who I thought was poor. Other than that I’d completely agree with the other comments. I felt today it took the players to lift the crowd and once they did that it was responded to.
    It was definitely draining 😂

The management of the club is the issue. I feel for Lampard but said at the time I thought it a right manger at the wrong time for his appointment. It needed experience but I think some of the fan base pushing for Lampard didn’t help and the board are so weak they pandered to the graffiti on the stadium after the horrendous Rafa appointment when they didn’t listen to the fans general consensus. I think Lampard could have made different decisions in a number of matches but it’s stupid individual errors are what’s killing us. We can’t keep a managerial merry go round imo. Stick to a style and philosophy and build on that through thick and thin.

Relegation will be a disaster and recovery likely a long process.

I think it might be a different atmosphere on Saturday. You can’t keep going to the same well before it runs dry.

That's how badly the manager wanted Digne out of the club. It's absolute madness that the club went down this route to make it happen.
Obviously, I don't know if it's actually the truth of the matter (that we helped Villa take one of our only decent players and took a shit one off their hands) but I can well believe it, because we are an incredibly fucked up football club.

Apparently, we took El Ghazi off their hands so that they could sign Digne. They needed his wages off the books so they could add Digne's.
