The team I'm involved with played Keighley the week after Danny Jones died, so having seen and felt the emotion first hand it's a massive credit to her and the RFL for keeping the reason for his death in focus and maintaining their fundraising efforts to make sure that lads playing the game are protected.

The next 6 days is going to feel like an eternity!

This has been covered before. It's not hypocritical to say that you wish the transfer window ended before the season and then conduct your business at the end of the transfer window (which happens to take place during the season).  
We are simply trying, as we do every year, to get the best possible deal for a player, which tends to happen as the window is winding to a close. In a more logical world nobody would have to play any matches while the summer transfer window was open.
 
We are just doing our best to succeed with the structures that exist. It would make no sense to piss away several million more pounds because Roberto has taken a principled stance against the window shutting a few weeks after the season starts and will only conduct his business in July.
 
I wish that universities weren't so damn expensive, but I still teach at one. Does that make me a hypocrite? Maybe it does in a small way. But, it's not as if I'm a socialist who works in hedge funds. And it's not like Roberto is a devout Muslim who sells Bibles door-to-door.
 
If you disagree with your boss on how something should be done, raise your point for consideration, and are given the message that what s/he says goes, will it make you a hypocrite for going along with their demands?

I wouldn't sack him, I think as someone said before... I don't think last season was a fluke.
