EFC-Paul got a reaction from MikeO in Cenk Tosun
Best of luck to him and I hope he does well and secures the move and us some money
Always put a shift in and wanted to play just a little too limited here, he'll go to the top of the pile at Palace

EFC-Paul reacted to chicagoblue in Midfield
Where's Banigime? Maybe just blue tinted glasses, but I thought he showed great promise under Unsy last time. Thought he was due to get in under Dunc but then got injured. No longer listed as injured on the official site, maybe just Carlo hasn't had a chance to run the rule over any of the young players? Maybe he's not ready (or won't be), but hard to imagine he'd be less mobile or more of a liability than the usual suspects right now.

EFC-Paul reacted to Makis in Carlo Ancelotti
How many training sessions has Ancelotti had so far? Five? No wonder they haven't picked up the tactics yet.

EFC-Paul reacted to Wiggytop in Todd Cantwell
In general no, but in this lad yes, it would be like missing out on Maddison when he moved on

EFC-Paul reacted to Heath in 10 managers to choose from
Mikel Arteta - He's never managed, so I don't particularly want him to use Everton to test the water, so to speak. Lots of supporters were saying we need to stop the sentimentality and 'jobs for the boys' attitude, yet there are so many shouts for Arteta
Eddie Howe - Won the League Championship in the 14/15 season. Could be the man to re-establish us in a healthy 8th or 7th place, ready for a better manager to come in and move us forward from there. But would he want to come to Everton?
David Moyes - Brought Everton close to actually winning something in the last 24 years by getting us to our last FA Cup final, ten years ago. Looked completely out of his depth at other clubs since leaving Everton.
Phil Neville - Even if he was a top manager... wild horses couldn't drag him away from all that young p*ssy he's managing right now. Why would you give that up to sit in a changing room full of sweaty, hairy-arsed men?
Gareth Southgate - Appeared to think that taking England to one of the easiest World Cup semi-finals the National Team have ever played in was good thing, even though they struggled to beat Tunisia, and got beat by Belgium (twice) and Croatia.
David Unsworth - He may have learnt from the mistakes he made last time he took over, but would he ever be more than an interim manager? Could he really command the respect needed from the players?
I wanted Farhad Moshiri to give Silva until the end of the year, but now I would give him until the Watford Carabao Cup game, at most, whilst sounding out a potential replacement just in case.
We are going to need someone who has experience in dragging clubs out of the mire of the relegation zone (or there about), someone with a no-nonsense attitude, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done... even if it's not pretty. Yes folks, hold on to your hats because he's coming back. Hated by all, loved by none, never wanted when here, and happy when he's gone. Get the gravy on a simmer and welcome him home with open arms... Big Sam Allardyce.

EFC-Paul got a reaction from MikeO in Alex Iwobi
"Like I said before Lookman is not far off zahas ability"
Not far off = lesser but similar
Lookman had been given ample opportunities to prove his worth and bar the very odd flash we never saw any consistency from him, something which multiple managers would have seen in training etc
Iwobi will prove to be a good singing especially for the money considering the market and buying from essentially a possible rival/English club

EFC-Paul reacted to Matt in Alex Iwobi
Very much disagree. He has the trickery, strength and pace to unsettle most! I know I’m going to refer to the highlight reel here, but one thing that stood out was his ability to turn people inside out, usually by nutmegging them.

EFC-Paul reacted to StevO in Zaha
I really hope we can get him now. £65m seems a lot, but I think we got Kean and Gomes at pretty decent prices, not to mention the absolute bargain we got last season in Digne. I could let it go for the attacking options we would have. It would be nice to turn up at Goodison and be excited by whoever is picked. Zaha could be really good for us.
Could give us the option of playing Bernard in the middle of Gylfi needs a rest too.

It's an awful lot of money but that's the modern game players going for ridiculous fee's
Maguire Bissaka Rodri NDombele etc then there's the prices banded around Ake £75m!! mental....
Zaha is the type of quality and player that could be the difference in this side seriously challenging the top 6
He knows the league is at the right age and can add goals assists and can turn a game on its head in a split second, some will say big fish small pond which could be true but I genuinely think he's potentially a massive piece of the puzzle
Imagine a settled front three of
Kean
Richi Zaha

EFC-Paul reacted to StevO in Abdoulaye Doucouré
Exactly, he was brought in as a centre half who would play in midfield. This guy is a midfielder who can play centre half, but his new club have not made any reference to him playing centre half just what he can do in the middle.
The extra midfielder will be to replace Schneiderlin. They won’t let him leave until we’ve got another. I hope we get Doucoure though, I think he’s a top player.

EFC-Paul got a reaction from Palfy in 2019/20 Pre-season.
I've said it for a while he simply isn't good enough
People act like he's just left our academy... He's 22 and doesn't show many fundamentals he could vastly improve
We can't afford to carry players and hope they come good down the line

EFC-Paul reacted to Paddock in Kurt Zouma
Chelsea the little scruffs holding our Kurt against his will. Free fucking Kurt you gang of wools.

EFC-Paul reacted to aaron in Zaha
10 goals last season, 5 assists. that's 15 goals he's been involved in for a proper shite team in Palace. Think of what he would get in a half decent team. You're fooling yourself if you don't think he is worth around £60m in todays market.
As for us saying "we wont be bidding again" I'm sure a certain cult said the same about a player who now plays for them...

EFC-Paul reacted to aaron in Moise Kean
his brother has started following Everton and a Everton fan page on instagram. He's replied to a few Everton fans messages on there indicating a move to us is happening.
Most of you wont have a clue who he is really, trust me, we will have a superstar on our hands if we pull this off. I cannot wait for the fume of the boring auld cunts moaning about his celebrations.

EFC-Paul reacted to nogs in Summer Transfer Window
Klopp also bought Mane, Matip and Wijnaldum in his first summer transfer window. In his second, he bought Salah, Robertson and Oxlade-Chamberlain, followed by Van Dijk the January after. Klopp has done what most managers do at a club, impose a preferred playing style partly through acquiring players suited to it. Silva is trying to do the same, and if he says he needs five more players to improve on what we did last season, I see no reason not to accept that - especially as it is obvious to everyone that he inherited a horribly imbalanced yet bloated squad which, when you remove the dead wood, is threadbare on quality in key areas.
-
EFC-Paul reacted to pete0 in Zaha
David Moyes barely trusted a kid in his 10 years here, no way was he gonna bring Zaha through especially in his first year at United. Barely managed any wingers in his decade here either, probably wouldn't know how to use him.
That said Zaha wasn't the player he is now, he's come on leaps and bounds.
