Previous managers spent a shit load of money on mainly shite players.
Current manager has a shoe string budget and can’t afford to replace the many championship players we have in the squad.
Injuries mean the shite players come in.

You would think that we have an elite squad of players who no matter what formation or tactics you use - they will get the result.
Couldn't be more wrong.
Last season we lose that game. Benitez studies the game intently, and I mean intently. He is in a zone, passionate but totally immersed in what is going on. You can see with the players - they are being coached, clear instructions, fitness.
Got ourselves a manager here.

Said before, he has taken the biggest risk of all our previous managers and we’ve given him the least. I respect him, I really do. The sheer irony that this man could be the manager we’ve needed after the previous pretenders is about as Everton as it gets.
