evilweevil666 got a reaction from markjazzbassist in Steve Walsh (Director of football)
Why does Walsh automatically get the benefit of the doubt? He's found one genuine diamond in the rough in Kante and that's the sole extent of his pedigree. Koeman obviously played his part, but the biggest problem as a whole is the genuine lack of coherent plan. Everyone could see we brought in 3 players with the exact same weaknesses and position and did not strengthen in our biggest problem areas. The entire job of DoF should be to steer the overall strategy of the club so we can have better long term planning, and he's clearly failed on that account so far.

Video of Niasse talking about his treatment by Koeman. It's been beaten to death, but his determination and ability to keep his head down is truly incredible.

Poor excuses. Not everyone who voted for NSDAP were Nazi's, they were just disapointed. Net effect is you voted what the far right wanted. Plus Trump, Putin, Johnson etc.

Two of our most intelligent and spatially aware players. Difference in team shape and off the ball movement is so noticeable.

evilweevil666 got a reaction from Kant in Gerard Deulofeu
Not sure I agree with this. Everyone is complaining about Barkley in the 10 and they have similar problems. Barkley can create magic, but he can't pick out a pass. Instead just puts his head down and runs at defenders. Deulofeu is maybe a little more creative than Barkley, but unless he improves significantly in his vision I can't see him creating many opportunities in that role.

evilweevil666 reacted to Paddock in Summer Transfers: Who goes and who comes in?
Why should he come out and say anything? He said fuck all signed the deal and stayed. What more do you want from the lad?
Fuck me, a player stays, signs a new deal and because he doesn't declare his undying love for the club via a bunch of lying vultures (the media) he hasn't showed enough loyalty.
He is one of ours, he showed what the club means to him by signing. Every week he applauds the fans every single time he takes a corner. He could have run his contract down and got a hefty signing on fee from United (or another top team) played cl football but he never. He pledged his future to us.
I don't know what some fans want I really don't .
He doesn't have to justify himself to anyone. His actions by signing the deal and staying speak more than a thousand words evsr could. He could have come out and said he loved it here and wans staying and Martinezcould of called him in the next day and said United had bid stupid money and we've accepted it, how would he of looked then.
He done the right thing all round. He kept silent and signed the deal, that way he respected everyone involved.
Model professional in my opinion.

At least so have Palace. Can't imagine they wouldn't have scored with Chamakh on the pitch as well.

Ross Barkley stop being a prima donna. You ignored a great pass to Baines, lost possession and it took Jags at full stretch to stop it being 2-0. Grow up man!

evilweevil666 reacted to milesey05 in Manchester City (A)
I think this is going to be a really close game... City are lacking fire power this season so with their little Argentine lacking confidence in front of goal, put up against jags and distin (our rock) then I can see yet another clean sheet on the cards.
I think if we play to our strengths and pass it around at the back for 85 mins this would really intimidate City and really show them we are going there for the win.
After the past few weeks and some of the performances we have put in we have nothing to fear.... It's only city

"Boring Hitlers" sounds a bit oxymoronic to me.

Why don't people just discuss things theoretically? What's the problem with that? Too many boring Hitlers in the Distin thread.
I read one guys posts and he bores the hell out of me. He's only fairly young as well. I think there's absolutely no way he can be that age. He's be the life and soul of every party.

evilweevil666 reacted to Hafnia in Burnley
Fuck off with the haf will be happy bollocks. I never started watching Everton at the age of 8 to be proved right about things. It's about the team. He needs sorting out. No where near the player half hope he is.

evilweevil666 reacted to Steve blue in Coleman injury
Contusion: Another name for a bruise. What is a bruise ? A bruise, or contusion, is caused when blood vessels are damaged or broken as the result of a blow to the skin (be it bumping against something or hitting yourself .
Even so I would rather Berto just come out an say that rather than being left out as a precaution , same as jags last year , I understand he keeps his cards close to his chest but honesty rather than a positive spin on everything is sometimes a better option

Beg to differ all you like. Go do a bit of research.
I'll help you....
Soft tissue injury
A Soft tissue injury (STI) is thedamage of muscles, ligaments and tendons throughout the body. Common soft tissue injuries usually occur from a sprain, strain, a one off blow resulting in a contusion or overuse of a particular part of the body.
Maybe you're getting your STI's mixed up?!

evilweevil666 reacted to Steve blue in Coleman injury
That's what annoys me with Martinez , he plays down injuries , jags last year , soft tissue injury to me means a bruise not a six week hamstring , now Coleman with a bang on the noggin causes a hamstring , Barkley pre season WTF
What is worrying is the amount of hamstring injuries we pick up , I often wonder if it's the artificial surface we train on contributing to this or his training regime ,

evilweevil666 reacted to smulliga in Coleman injury
Sorry , beg to disagree ! A pulled hamstring is a hamstring, an Achilles is an Achilles, a dead leg is a dead leg, soft tissue is bruising.

Spot on!
Narrowness in midfield had nothing to do with it! Plus you always defend narrow against Arsenal anyway. You watch how narrow Chelsea are and they are supposedly the best at 'parking the bus'. Like Steve_E says, we had PLENTY of men back.
Spot on. First goal we had Baines, Jags and Distin marking no-one and Osman let the one player they had in the box go. The cross shouldnt have come in but even then we had 2 guys in position to stop him doing so but they didnt.
