I think the Olympics kit designs show what is possible in terms of uniqueness for a kit, Great Britain's is designed by Stella McCartney (Adidas) and Jamaica's is designed by Bob Marley's daughter Cedella (Puma). A few years ago Middlesborough allowed fans to choose one of 3 home kit designs to be put into production, had we had such an option I don't think the toilet rolls would be on the sleeve. Lowere league clubs do it every year, and some of the kits are amazing. It's just laziness that teh templates are used.
