Cornish Steve
Mirallas not in such good form right now. Now watch him score a screamer!
dunlopp9987
For being 1-0 up, I'm not impressed. Can't seem to keep hold of the ball.

Cornish Steve
All credit to West Brom's tactics. They are clearly under orders to put pressure on our defence, and it seems to be throwing us off balance. Too much hoofing the ball.
Shukes
Now I'm impressed. Lukaku just sprinted three quarters of the pitch to chase a ball down. That's the biggest improvement I have seen from him so far. Excellent stuff. Rest if the team need to step up though, we're under a lot if pressure here. Cornish Steve
I hate Trevor Francis. It's pretty clear from his comments, and his accent, which team he is supporting.

Keith B
3rd time in 4 games we take the lead into halftime. Can we hold it?
Cornish Steve
The only comments the commentators can make at the end of the half? Stones should have had a penalty against him and Naismith should have been booked. Nothing about Lukaku's great goal.
Hafnia
Need to improve big time here. Not good enough. Defenders just look shaky.
Matt
well, they shouldve had a pen and Naismith should've been booked. Looking far from convincing and we are lucky to be leading still. No stand out player, and despite the goal Rom hasnt done much. Mirallas and McGeady both need to step up for me. Romey 1878
Despite leading I think we've been pretty shite. Didn't look like scoring without that gift from Olsson. chicagoblue, Matt and Steve_E
Matt
Is that Romelu Lukaku's first Premier League goal for a club he actually plays for? Good point on the bbc thread

Disagree about Lukaku. He's showing real effort and commitment and has created more than one half-chance. The disappointments for me are Mirallas and Naismith. We need to take charge of this game, and it's time for McCarthy to stamp his presence on it. It would be good to see Atsu come on at the hour mark. chicagoblue
6-0 corners and we look like conceding on one. Olson is dangerous. We haven't shown any threat in behind today.

Barry and McCarthy both need to start protecting the back 2 more, but like its been mentioned, WBA have got their tactics pretty much spot on; pressure the CBs and watch panic ensue. Also got both FBs pretty much out of the game.
Toffee_in_LA
McGeady for me has not been up for it. There have been a couple of occasions where he gave the ball away far too cheaply. Our defense continues to look a bit shaky and there was a decent spell where we couldn't get the ball. I just hope we come out with the same play in the midfield but can actually create chances and not just pass the ball sideways and back.
