Wiggytop
Seamus, led by example and didn’t put a foot wrong, fantastic recovery to get back on Mane towards the end.
Palfy
Holgate solid performance worked well with Keane.
Btay
Coleman. Got stuck into the ref for some shit decisions as well which was refreshing. Holgate - so composed and looked like the leader of the CB’s. Defensively we were perfect. Credit Carlo and the boys there.
Shukes
Coleman, head and shoulders about everyone else.
Romey 1878
Coleman, even though he was responsible for Keane's booking.
pete0
The back to the basics two banks of 4 defensive set up completely stumped Liverpool yesterday with their best chances being gifts from the referee, which begs the question how they're top of the league. Oh wait think I've already answered it... Thought Coleman was excellent with Mane only getting the better of him once and even then we had plenty of players to stop him to the point I'd say Keane didn't need to take the yellow. He was clearly the player Liverpool were relying on to win the game from their initial set up and Coleman (and Iwobi) nullified the threat to the point Klopp had to change things. Davies would have had a shout if not for the brain fart pass at the end, also loved his exchange with Henderson going full pigeon chested only to be told to go away nobhead with a smile on his face and without flinching. (Hate when players act the hard man when they know they're protected by the ref and the cameras.) It wasn't the best watch, at times it was painful, but all the players knew their jobs and got it done well, except for Richarlison, who was over eager trying to force things. But not gonna moan about a player trying too hard in a Derby. StevO and Shukes
Bailey
Coleman rolled back the years for me. Great performance.
