StevO Posted December 1, 2023 Report Posted December 1, 2023 Great to see him getting more of these things done. He’s clearly off the leash now he doesn’t have anyone keeping him away from social media. He’s the face of the revolution! Romey 1878 1 Quote

Squad very settled, maybe left back cover needed Our problem is depth of squad. This season, we've been more fortunate than in previous years with comparatively few injuries. Recent games have revealed we can survive with one or two starters missing in defence or midfield, and probably up front, but we would likely be up a creek without Pickford. Still, I agree with the comment that we have a much more balanced squad at this point. Plus, we've moved out past prima donnas and most of those who are overpaid. Thelwell deserves credit for a job well done and for setting the right expectations. London Blue 1 Quote
Matt Posted October 12, 2024 Report Posted October 12, 2024 He was at the sleepout and gave a bit of a talk beforehand. Seems like a very level headed guy. dunlopp9987 1 Quote

Romey 1878 Posted January 10 Author Report Posted January 10 Apparently we’re trying to get Weir for DoF. Not for now but eventually. Quote

Look at Brighton’s transfer activity and managerial changes over the past few years. Very good model, in my opinion. Prior to that, he managed their loans. StevO and Matt 1 1 Quote
Goodison Glory Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 I thought it was Ashworth who was responsible for bringing over most of the talent that they then sold for millions. Quote

Ashworth did three years at Brighton. Weir has been in charge for the last couple of years, but has been part of the set up there since 2018. Quote

Some thought would have actually gone into it. StevO 1 Quote
