I agree he would happily race anyone but he would make sure he was number one driver in any team he raced for, and any other driver would play second fiddle to him it wouldn’t be an even playing field when it came to equipment, he’s earned that right in my eyes and will lead the drivers championship for a few more years to come. Gwlad
Put Russell in the situation where he has to play second fiddle might break him before he's got started. In other news, should Haas now not go with Mazepin? https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/12155959/haas-f1-condemn-abhorrent-nikita-mazepin-actions-social-media-video

MikeO
Good he's OK but still find this a bit on an anti-climax, probably all but the most die-hard Hamilton fans will agree; was really hoping to see George in there again. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/55264873 Zoo 2.0

Glad he's OK but really hoped that George would get another crack, especially considering how his race at Bahrain unfolded. I know it was always going to be the case, but I feel a bit deflated knowing that Russell will be lapped for another year in his Williams when he could be going toe to toe with Lewis. Gwlad
Mazepin keeping his Haas seat for 2021 despite the footage of his inappropriate behaviour towards a female, captured on film. F1 making a big show of equality and non-discrimination and removing grid girls as it was considered patronising to women. Yet a Russian billionaire's son can do what he wants without consequences to his career and no-one bats an eyelid? MikeO

Palfy
Sir Lewis Hamilton in recognition of his supremacy in F1, deserved why not he has become the best driver in modern times by stats. Plus Beckham will be really pissed that he’s been over looked again.

Zoo 2.0
Sir Lewis knighted for his services to boiling peoples piss, lovely news to wake up to. Hopefully they rename Silverstone or build a museum in his honour to wind up folk even more (ideally located outside Nico Rosberg's house). The best driver Britain has ever produced, arguably the best to ever take part in the sport. His work off the circuit to make the world a better place is always forgotten but so important. His knighthood is long overdue IMO. Bailey

The fact that anyone can have a seat in the elite racing class that is Formula One simply because they have deeper pockets is quite literally disgraceful IMO. The fact that Lance is guaranteed a seat every year, despite being average at best and pushing out good team-mates in the process (Ocon and Perez) makes me just despise everything about the arrangement. Mazepin is no different, he would have been sacked on the spot in any other environment yet is bulletproof at Haas because of the amount of money that he brings in. It really does make a mockery out of the "#WeRaceAsOne" slogan. I've never seen a sport quite like F1 and it's not for good reasons. MikeO
At hospital on Thursday I spotted my speech and language therapist (who I've know for years) was wearing her NHS ID on a McLaren lanyard, so we got into a great conversation. Turns out she's a big McLaren fan and particularly a Lando fan, even has a pit board cover on her mobile (P3 from the opening race last season), and what's more (sorry Zoo) she hates Hamilton with a passion. We've always got on well but now I think she may have my children. Bailey, pete0, Zoo 2.0 and 1 other

It's going to be a shambles to be honest. The #WeSayNoToMazepin hashtag has been carrying weight ever since the video and isn't showing signs of slowing down - thing is he brings so much sponsorship that Haas won't bin him. Mazepin's father tried to buy Racing Point so that he could be guaranteed a seat (and took Lawrence Stroll to court in the process) so I don't see him going away anytime soon, though I do expect his career to be one big media clusterfuck.
