aaron
Captain America:Civil War tomorrow . Cannot wait for this, although it made me laugh the other day when a friend of mine said "there is too many characters in this movie," which to anyone who has read civil war would just laugh at. Lowensda
I watched the Ronaldo documentary/film on Tuesday and I have to say, I enjoyed it. It wasn't as over the top and self obsessive as I thought it might have been. Tell you what though, he's awesome with his little boy. He's a single parent and has full custody, does everything with him. He's a VERY career driven and hardworking guy, which I found really refreshing for someone of his footballing status. You see so many who just faze out or stop trying because they believe that they've made it. He's not satisfied at being the best. Some of our lads (Ross especially) could really use his advice. Romey 1878
My theory is that he paid the woman to have a baby with him and then paid her to fuck off. I reckon he bats for the other team and just wanted a kid.

I reckon he bats for the other team and just wanted a kid. Really? That's interesting. It's the one H continued talking about after watching it. I quote "how was he made? I'm fascinated". I told her that I could show her and get her involved in live demonstrations. Probably wasn't similar to Ronaldo's situation and the mystery continues.... Lowensda
It is brilliant. Nerdgasm galore. Several sections I was just smiling like a mad man.Up in the top 4 for me. Just because it has everything.Spiderman is beyond better than expected and Black Panther is a bad ass. Edit - Changed it to top 4. I can't pick 3. Guardians of the Galaxy Captain America : Winter Soldier Avengers Assemble Captain America : Civil War (Probably in that order) The Captain America trilogy must be one of the BEST film trilogies of all time, let alone comic adapted material. Louis
Going back many years to the comic books, do any of you remember Captain Britain? Would you like to see a film of him? He's in the Lego video game Rubes and rumoured to be getting his own tv series. Something about Civil War seemed off to me. I found it to be enjoyable but not great and can't quite put my finger on why. rubecula
MikeO
A bit of Shakespeare. "The Hollow Crown" series that passed me by in 2012 on the iPlayer. Henry IV Pt1, which was part of my English Lit O-level forty years back. Loved it then, and saw it on stage, but a great dramatisation! Two hours very well spent. And no comic-book heroes .
