At JFK now boarding the plane. Win lose draw, relegation, no relegation. I know everyone on here lives and breathes this club, but I hope none of us lose sight of how special we are. The fans. We are the club. And no matter what happens we will support our blues til the day we die. Up the fucking toffees. Can’t wait to be in the Gwladys Saturday afternoon. COYB.

What an occasion yesterday must have been for you. So happy you were able to experience it.

  2. A post from United's forum:

"Also, without McT being available and Matic’s limited capacity to barely last 60 mins, we are soft as feck in midfield.
We will need at least a couple of goals, or we’re stuffed"

Leaving aside how that guy obviously doesn't know how impossible we find it to score goals, energy in midfield will be key, because he's right that United are very weak in that area right now. Plus their defenders always have a mistake in them (I know, I know, so do ours). But they're there for the taking provided our players want it. Lampard needs to get his subs right bearing in mind how United have a tendency to tire towards the end these days.  Keep some pace on the bench and introduce it on the hour mark.

    Getting serious now.

I think Norwich and Watford will be relegated but Burnley can crawl out of the relegation places. Newcastle have hit some  form. Leeds are on the slide and we are right there along side.

Brentford are on the slide and we have a bunch of games in hand over them. I'm not worried, we're obviously in a bad state but we're not going to be relegated and next season under Frank will be far better than this one.

We’ve been saving a lot of bonus money for years! 😂

This. I always laugh my arse off at the naivete of clubs who insist on performance-related bonuses when they offload their shite to us. Besiktas probability thought they'd played a blinder when we offered them an extra 100 million if Cenk scores 5 goals in a season.

  5. From what I saw of that Spurs documentary he can sometimes be a bit petulant. Eric Dier had to tell him to stop acting like a spoiled kid...

...so hopefully he leaves that at the door because the last thing we need is trouble in the dressing room.

As I posted in the Zakaria thread, if Juve can get him for €5m and Sevilla getting Tecatito for €2m, we should be able to get Dele for close to that same price.

But it's Spurs, so it'll probably be £35m

And it's Everton, so we'll probably pay it.

"Tosun’s lack of minutes for Everton this season have convinced him his future lies elsewhere"

It took him 4 years of running down his contract and banking a wage that no other club in the world would come close to paying for him to realise this?

God I'll be so happy when we finally clear out the last few dregs of those nightmare signings we made when we suddenly had cash and spunked it up every wall we could find on the likes of Tosun, Walcott, Bolassie and Iwobi.
