I hope I don't jinx it, but I think DCL is going to be there for the goalscorer of the season award. Only if he could take penalties it will be almost sure. Really top class.
From open play certainly, but as you said, until he takes penalities it isn't happening. Vardy's already got about a 10 goal head start on him (4 of Vardy's 5 league goals this season have come from penalties).

If any of our B team (which now I think of as the likes of Bernie, Siggy, Iwobi, Walcott, Davies, Kean, Delph) give a shit about ever playing in the first 11 again then this is exactly the game they need to impress in. Premier League opposition who've just had a big win. I really want us to win this match but I'd gamble on the side that won the last round, with 3 A-listers ready to be subbed on if we need it. There's zero sense keeping those players around on their insane wages if we're not going to trust them in a game like this. If they've any professional pride they'll rise to the occasion.

None of your three options have anything really positive in them so it reads like three reasons to give him a bit of stick.
This was my option 2:
"He thinks scoring against Salford and Fleetwood in the early rounds of the EFL is nothing major to celebrate"
And this was your theory on why he doesn't celebrate:
"Maybe he just sees scoring goals as what he should do against these teams so doesn’t make a lot of it"
Pretty much the exact same thing I wrote.
Relax mate, it was just an attempt to begin a discussion, take this weird chip off your shoulder.

Do we really need him going crazy for scoring the fifth in injury time when the match is over?I think you’re looking for an issue that isn’t there.
I'm not looking for any "issue" (my option 2 is pretty much what you just wrote), I'm just interested in thoughts on the subject.

Any thoughts on why this guy is such a misery guts when he scores? I see 3 main possibilities. 1) He's going for the misplaced "this shit is too easy for me" Balotelli shtick. 2) He thinks scoring against Salford and Fleetwood in the early rounds of the EFL is nothing major to celebrate. 3) he doesn't want to be here.
His sullen demeanour really stands out on the pitch because, Salford and Fleetwood or not, a win is a win and the rest of the team look delighted to be rolling on. He should too.

2 5-2s in a row. Nice.

My friend says that's true, Pickford had 3 things to do and he fucked 2 of them up.
But she argues that there another 13 Everton players who have played tonight and the match is still going on.
But she digresses.
Then tell the lady that number 7 just played a pass to number 4 but he sadly fired over. We'll discuss the details once the game is finished.

I’d argue about him being utter shite if you want one, but not that he’s at fault for the 2 conceded.
Same here. I gave him MOTM at Tottenham, because I think he's the reason we won that game. He isn't "shite". He has huge strengths. You don't get consistently picked as England's keeper during a time of relatively high competition if you're shit. But he is undoubtedly error prone. His weakness seems to be his concentration.

Far and away the best value-for-money signing of the Koeman era (not that there's much competition, given he spent over 120 million on Sigurdsson, Klaassen, Bolasie and Schneiderlin).

Thank God these players are no longer the basis of our midfield.

Good looking bench though (actually, no. Only DCL and Digne)
Richarlison, Allan, Doucoure and Coleman are also on the bench.

Gave it to Pickford because of the psychological aspect to his performance. There was a lot of pressure on him to do well in this game and he rose to the occasion. But really, half the team are worthy of MOTM.

Appalling piece of journalism, don’t they know we have DCL, Holgate, Branthwaite, Kean etc.
And to add to how shoddily researched it is, he includes Gylfi Sigurdsson in the list of players we bought off "elite clubs". We bought him off Swansea, where he'd been for 3 years already.

I'm not convinced Colombians are waiting with baited breath to see if James Rodriguez has secured his move from Real Madrid to Everton. My guess is the hold up is contractual stuff. From a marketing perspective, Rodriguez is a different level to (for example) Allan, and there'll be tonnes of tiny details in his contract to thrash out.

We've been spoiled recently by the dazzling football genius of Theo Walcott, Yannick Bolassie, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Alex Iwobi. James Rodriguez would be just one more superstar in a team full of legends.

Ouch... he scored the winner in the final.
Hope Inter fans font destroy him tbh.
From the main English-language Inter forum (these quotes are about Conte):
and with conte out, we can sell lukakuPlease go to Man Utd and take Lukaku with you, thanks.Holy shit, if he leaves he better takes Lukaku with him, I dont think any other coach would be patient with this guy.we aren't going to sack him. So if he leaves, that's on him. If that's how he feels, good fucking riddance then, quitter. Have fun managing Everton when carlo leaves because no big team will want you now and take fucking Lukaku with you -

Opinion of a Watford fan from another forum:
"Im a Watford ST holder, so have watched most if not all their games this season. I don't recall seeing Doucoure play in any of them. I assumed it was his twin brother because he has been nothing short of woeful and completely inept in every game this season. Complete chalk and cheese to seasons prior to this. He decided a long time ago he wanted to leave and his performances have echoed that. At times he looked like he was trying, but his head dropped easily and he honestly showed no technical ability last season.
Keeping Sarr, Capoue and Deulofeo would be a good window for Watford"Hopefully a move to us will motivate him to get back to his best under Carlo.

I'm sceptical of that article. In the middle of an economic crisis, a French club have struck up a "gentleman's agreement" with an Italian club and are therefore not open to offers from vastly richer Premier League clubs? I seriously doubt that's how this stuff works.
