I definitely feel vindicated in picking him as my man of the match against Fulham even though some say I'm uninitiated when it comes to football.

We've found the replacement for Baines we have been looking for against West Ham he was excellent, a shame he had no one in front of him to work with with Richarlison coming back could we have a the Baines and Pienaar pairing that will terrorise defences, let's pray so.

Off the top of my head only the city and Liverpool wingers plus Hazard are notably better. Without checking the stats for all them I'd reckon he's in the top 10 if you factor for the minutes played, as he's 70 goals (plus 48 assists) in 272 games makes him one in four which is really good. His contribution is more than any winger we've had in the last 20 years.

Unless they play Theo as the striker, it's what he's always wanted.

Haf sounds like you’ve found your Lukaku replacement thing is you won’t enjoy the challenge cause more will agree with you😀
At present I still rate Walcott I have witnessed him doing his fair share of defending in games and seen him cover for Kenny when he’s passed him, he gets in good positions and creates better than average opportunity’s, admittedly his biggest fault is always taking the opportunity to score when others are better placed, but if Silva is not happy with that he will iron it out of him or drop him.
For me still an integral part of the team and the near future.

I can see the faults with Walcott, I just think his positives outweigh them. He IS a very good attacking player, and has surprised me since he arrived.
He was also a complete shithouse on Saturday for moaning at Cenk after he absolutely fluffed a simple ball. He can also have periods of ghost form.
But there aren’t many better finishers than him in the team, and he is one that I am confident in, once a chance opens up for him.

I think if Gomez comes good, he could replace him. But that’s no slight on Gana. He could replace many premier players.

Just seen the goal.... wasn't Ganas fault.  Also gana deserves credit for our first with a lovely first time knock to Bernard.

Back to his usual self today 1 decent game doesn’t make a season as I think was proven today, he needs to be more consistent from game to game but alas he isn’t
So let’s hope we get Gomes and McCathy fit in the hope they are consistent from game to game we know what the latter when fit can bring and we need it

Some say that he used to be a stormtrooper, but he was kicked out when he tried to eat Darth Vader. All we know is that he's called the Sig!

Thought Siggy and Zouma did superb today but gave it to Digne, everything he did was class and showed his level throughout the game.
What a finish tho from sig

Holiday, here for 3 nights then Sydney Brisbane Cairns for just over 3 weeks then 10 nights in Bali to recharge the batteries and chill out.
Totally understand where your coming from Mark I can be quite up and down with my expressions and emotions even with my own family to the extent they think I’m moody or miserable, but sometimes I just go into myself and like a bit of solitude and space to be with my own thoughts, which if I’m honest I really enjoy it’s like a release and freedom from life’s everyday mundane things.
All the best Mr Grumpy 😀

As in football the Ryder cup is a team game on world rankings the Yanks should have won, but they aren't a team there players are more about themselves than the team, were the Europeans are more for the team.

Might work in our favour these breaks with getting Mina and Gomes fit, because the way it's going with Gomes is very strange we've signed a player on loan for a season with an injury nearly quarter of the season gone and he hasn't kicked a ball yet, can't get my head around that one.
