If we finish anywhere remotely close to the top half (which, spoiler, we won't), all the credit goes to Dyche and his team, the players and supporters.
Sorry Steve, the board has to go.

Today we saw the player I hoped we had bought. He did more in the first 20 mins today than in the previous 20 games.

Very good today. Love how he gave Onana a good talking up at the end.

Onana best player on the pitch.
Huge mention for McNeil and Mykolenko in terms of improvement. Completely different players!

Whole team played well. Onana was huge. Doucoure had a great game especially given how little he’s played. McNeils best game yet.
Voted for Myko - arsenals game plan was to get Saka on the ball as much as possible and he shut it down so well. Great game from him

We played very well, a good mix of possession, passing and no nonsense football.
I think he may be just what we need, I feel much much better after watching his first game.

I honestly think that Dyche is just trying to deflect away from the political side and concentrate on the football. And that he is just saying… let’s all get behind the team and push them forward and get that part sorted.
I think that’s actually his job to be fair.

He hasn't come in to sack the board, or reposition them all, he has came in as a football coach, and it sounds he just wants to concentrate on that.

I keep seeing this "weaker squad" all over the place and it's just bullshit. Nothings changed, that's the problem. If anyone quotes Gordon being sold, I'll point to the countless mistakes or not tracking back that lead to lost points and argue were stronger without him.

I wonder what was said to Dyche during his recruitment in terms of signings. I'm confident that if the board haven't delivered on their words, Dyche will let them know.
The whole window farce makes me support Dyche even more. I think it will really add fuel to the fire in his belly.
I know the vast majority of fans will get right behind him. I think we'll see a team battling hard at Goodison, that will lift the crowd. All we want is that uplift in effort and desire.
Its gonna be tough and pretty ugly. But there is a bit of hope. We're proper underdogs, more so with every team 13th and below making at least 3 signings.
I know there is much debate about the quality in our side, but I do believe with the right direction and instruction, we have a good solid core to the team that'll suit a Dyche approach.
Strap in...its gonna be a bumpy ride!

If you mean Gordon, I agree now with those who claim his head turned permanently in the summer. He's not been the player he was, so we were right to cash in on him. We could probably get more for him now than waiting until the summer. I have no issue with that transaction.

We're becoming so influenced by the media (not just regarding the transfer window but about everything). The current narrative is that teams must spend big in every window to progress - despite the fact that the January window is generally viewed as risky and expensive. Someone shared earlier just how poorly we've fared before in this window, so bringing no-one in ensures we don't overspend on average quality. Of course, we need a striker, but we do have three options. Moreover, Gray has been on a tear of late, so it's not only forwards who score. Personally, I refuse to buy into this narrative about everyone needing to spend. Survive this season (and odds are that we will) and spend more wisely in the summer. If we finish mid-table, we'll have earned the right to attract better quality players.
No matter what we think of Sean Dyche, he has a track record of building solid defences, and he's worked before with both Tarkowski and Keane. If we're not scoring goals, it's important that we don't ship them. I'm resigned to low-scoring games for the rest of this season, and there's nothing wrong with 0-0 at Anfield and 1-0 wins against Villa, Palace, Forest, and the like. Let's build from where we are and stop panicking. And more than anything, let's stop falling for media sensation and "woe is me" narratives.

Regardless of what our fans think the protests are affecting the club and the team.
yes we all want the board out and I’m sure they know that now.
but when we start criticising the the team when we lose by the odd goal and start singing your not fit to wear the shirt in the thousands this is just making harder for the team they are demoralised.
we the fans and the team have to stick together 100%.
it’s us against all the odds.

Cool your jets Haff, everyone here loves this club. Many myself included believed the board were going to improve. We were dazzled by the new stadium. But the reality dawned on us as the season went on.
Now I imagine pretty much all on here want the board gone. So let's unite behind that and the team.

We really don't. We need someone to relieve the stress on the midfield by providing an outlet. Goals will come with confidence and confidence will come when we think we have an outlet and one that helps reduce individual errors. We're 6 points of mid table. It's not dire yet.

What is fucking me off is how slow we are yet again to take positive action, FL was clearly on thin ice, surely the board ( hah ) would have had the person they want lined up and ready to go. It really does feel like they want us to be the laughing stock of the sport.
