  1. He will continue to make saves that others can't and mistakes others don't.

for me - the biggest sell high buy low opportunity is goalkeeper.   "If we had good scouting".

Realistically he is a top 4 goalkeeper cos he's a big game player. If man united came in for him then he's £70m - vicario was signed by spurs for £17m.

there are keepers out there - it's whether or not we have the network.

the only assets we have to make real money to strengthen is:- Onana, Branthwaite, Pickford.  Branthwaite needs to be held on to the point that we can't refuse the money which will be £100m.

onana and Pickford could fund a reasonable rebuild of 4/5 players.

Hopefully DCL was just taken off as a precaution, bit worried with it looking like his calf where he's had issues before.

Beto won't be able to play midweek whether fit or not because of concussion protocols.

a knock dyche thinks which will usually just be a bruise

I was agreeing with you totally. Like I said in the matchday thread, I thought we played some good stuff. For both goals we were passing it around beforehand (more so for the second goal, where the passing had more purpose).

We just don't do it over long periods during games.

I think when we looked good it was when Forest were out of shape.

our movement on the ball is absolutely awful, players pass slower than the pace of the man running so they can't run on to passes - have to stop and allow the defender to recover.

our lack of pace in the side is criminal.  Needs addressing asap.

little mention for Gomes -  got no pace, no legs, no confidence but I'd have him in our side all day over that disgrace who should be dominating midfields but decided to finish his season weeks ago - Onana.   Don't like dyche but he's spot on with Onana - get him training with the kids, arm waving mess.

  4. We know the league is bent - just our luck that Forest are making the fight using examples vs us! We have been absolutely shafted by bad decisions and could put a 10 minute tape together.

if I was a forest fan I'd be thinking "we ain't getting any of those 4 points back"

masters and his cronies will be very angry today.  We know they don't like people standing up to them.  BTW Liverpool kicked all this off with their reaction to hooper

  5. I'm still not convinced in how we play. Still think we are 50% reliant on other teams below us being poo.

there was spirit today which is good but we are not a very well coached team in possession and it scares me. Another day and we lose that with Pickford and the ref/var

Really pleased with the update Dyche gave after the game in that he was talking etc.

I'm down the other end but it looked a very nasty one and McNeil's reaction had me fearing the worst.

Made me love McNeil even more. You can tell he's got a lovely nature has the lad.

get well soon Beto.  I thought i seen tarks gesture to his mouth, hopefully his skull brain & teeth are ok.

Amazing performance from him today. He covered every bit of the pitch and his runs with the ball to get us up the pitch were invaluable.

I must admit, I shouted no as he swung his foot back to shoot . While it wasn't the best hit shot, the placement of it was perfect.

    Comfortably MOTM.

Yeah brilliant.  Maybe Onana could look on and see what a midfield performance is meant to look like.

posing prick sat getting splinters while a bloke 12 years older done more running in 90 minutes than he has in 2 months.

I’m so glad you were very wrong. I’m sure you are, too.

Delighted I'm wrong.  Not been able to bring my stress levels down. Not sure if there was sarcasm in that but many true Evertonians are struggling to see the shoots of optimism that maybe less emotionally invested fans are. The type who dip their toes in - so to speak.  I'm sure you are absolutely fine and relaxed about it as much as I'm relaxed about the dychy of Cornwall bollocks that seems to get your goat.

Like I said when people were getting carried away by dyche - shake hands, thanks, goodbye in the summer.

nothing has changed in my book. We are light years off where we should be with our players.  We need a coach.
