To be fair to him, it’s been a busy international break for him. Little rest and go again next weekend.

I do hope our fans are classy about VVD .... I know they sang songs about Coleman and his leg break but we are better than them.

VAR, with Pickford a close second.
Went with Pickford because his save from Mario's header literally kept us in the game, and no matter your opinion on him was absolutely top drawer. I thought he was generally good throughout the game too, had a bit of a nightmare with the VVD incident but to be honest that's when everyone needed to give their heads a wobble.
Keane did well, so gets a shout (Mina was poor, but always going to be a big ask with the amount of travel he's done). Godfrey looked bright too, which is inspiring considering the game he was thrown into. DCL with that header just continues to blow my mind, he's turning into an absolute machine.

    Great tracking by Richarlison.

Look, we’ve not played well and it’s 1-1.
Lets get in, refresh and come at them again!

Will take a draw now. Rodriquez and richarlison both look off it today, both struggling after internationl duty.

yeah, its been brilliant so far this season- just hoping we are not give a massive reality check by Liverpool to take the wind right out of our sails!!
It almost feels worse going in to the Derby as a form team with a fighting chance rather being massive underdog. Not used to have much expectation in these games!!

I knew it wouldn't be a popular post, but it at least gets people thinking about something different.
My initial response was to somebody who said a mate gets 'everything for £6.90' through illegal stream as opposed to paying the going rate, after I said at this moment in time given the amount of matches that are on TV, these subscriptions are actually good value at the moment.
For those who I appear to have upset - please check my posts again -  I didn't call anybody 'immoral thieves' or actually make any judge anybody at all. I am just laying out a point of view and some analogies to consider.  these are just analogies I used when my lad asked me why I bothered paying to stream music.
In fact, I said 'each to there own'. Much like Palfy said above, I don't have any particular gripe with what anybody who chooses to do it. I don't have any soapbox about it.
All I laid out in my post was my reasoning why I pay the going rate rather than save myself £20-30 a month. It's not because I am a 'mug' and don't know how get free or cheap stuff, I do.  It's not because I am rich, normally I don't have either Sky sports or BT sport, its not a priority in my house. I purchase the occasional Sky day pass four or five time a year if their is an Everton game available. At the moment I do have a spare few quid a month, as I can't go out and do anything, so have subscribed to BT as they don't sell the games ad hoc.
I occasionally work a Saturday for a bit of cash in hand - I know its tax invasion and illegal! It's not particular 'moral' but I choose to do it.
no need for anybody to get their knickers in a twist about it.

I think its decent value for the number of games you get to be honest - There are probably around +50 games a month on if you wanted to watch them all, plus all the other sports etc if you like them.  You don't have to pay for all subscriptions, but the choice is there for people, who now can't get to the games or pubs to watch them.
This season (due to there being more games) I have subscribe to BT Sport and just get a £10 day pass on Sky if Everton are playing that day. You can sign up to  Amazon prime as it suits you., if they happen to have an Everton playing.
TV money is vital to clubs at the moment, there are no gate recipes. If illegal streaming etc are other people's bag because they don't like to paying the going rate for a produce, service or goods then good luck to them and each to their own.  I don't buy stolen good from people in pubs either.
My morals and integrity are important to me and how I look to my children. This might not be a popular post but the morality illegal streaming of football games, movies, music etc is similar to sticking a DVD or CD's into your jacket and walking out of HMV, but without needing the balls to do it. Your mate is not forced into paying for an illegal stream, its a choice he makes. It's actually the same as stealing or receiving stolen goods.

It is a little disappointing - but I have gone and got myself both BT Sports and Sky Sports (through a Now TV box) this year and it costs less that the price of a two or three of pints a week, I have seen every Everton game so far this season live on TV and also had loads more game Premiership games to watch.
Given the volume of game available to watch then Sky Sports and BT Sports and even Amazon are actually very good value. So if watching football is your passion then these TV subscriptions are actually very good value at the moment.
I imagine that most who go out to the pub to watch a football game - generally part with more than £14.95, so even this cost isn't prohibitive for most people to watch games.
Given we can't actually go out and do much else - I am just grateful that there is the option to 'press a button' and have Everton games live in the comfort of my own living room.

I agree with that, but also they will probably be thinking the same about Pickford. Could a game for Pickford to get his form back - think he will be busier than he as been in any other games this season - so it would be a good game for him to find some form and ditch the errors it. he could make the difference to where the points go on Saturday.

Just had a bit of a read up on this Project Big Picture - It does all sound like wolf in sheep's clothing.  I love the fact that they want to be able to vote if other clubs can be bought out by a wealthy owner.  Proper taking the piss that is.
Chelsea and then Man City bought themselves a place in the 'Top 6', and I am not sure Spurs can consider themselves as a nailed down top 6 team, they have had a few good years and have been very fortunate with the first incarnation of Garth Bale and then Harry Kane being goal machines for them (Could DCL be our very own Harry Kane!!). Top 6 is only a snapshot at anyone period of time, this would definitely be a move for those there at this moment in time to try and lock this in more permanently.
Most clubs are never going to vote for this!!!

Could Rick Parry and Liverpool's current owners inadvertently come up with and idea that goes a long way to financing our new stadium!!!
I know fuck all about this 'Big Picture' embryo of an idea, and guess like most will never come to fruition, so the pinch of salt it deserves taken, but interesting to read given how it mentions how this idea would benefit us!!

Hope he is able to do the business for us well in to his 30's. He is going to be a real fans favourite. He has been great to watch so far and when you here stories like that, you  don't begrudge players like this hitting the jackpot of a footballers wage.

As Tom Davies has been on the scene so long it is easy to forget how young he is, only turning 22 this summer. He made his debut from the bench under Martinez so including interim managers has now played under 7 different managers since his 2016 debut. It would be fair to say he has not had the most stable or consistent environment in which to grow as a player. How many different ways he been asked to play for these different managers?
A lot has been put on on his very young shoulders, in what has been a turbulent period. A few have alluded to the fact he has been the one who has been rolling his sleeves up, when well paid seasoned pros have gone missing any shirked their responsibility. Davies has been throw in at the deep end a little and a little unfair to expect him to fix our midfield.
Given how far he has come with the club, I think at the very least he deserves a chance to mature and develop over the next 18months in more prolonged stable environment under Ancelotti and the better quality midfielders he now has around him as his senior role model. Lets give him half a season with this new look midfield and see how he comes on.
He will either sink or swim.
