He will never win a trophy with us if he treats the FA Cup with the same disrespect as he did with the League Cup last night

I will never understand why Everton refuse to take this trophy seriously when it is clearly the easiest route to ending our trophy drought and earning a place in European football

Without wanting to dredge up all the BK stuff again, the answer to your first point is constantly for more than 12 months now

With regards to your second question, is it fact that BK is a liar or is that just your opinion? Is it fact Moyes is tactically inept or is that just your opinion?

Also for your information I dont "subscribe to everything blue"

Tp recap my stance on BK is that he is out of his depth and he has been guilty of overseeing some monumental fuck ups during his tenure, but I dont think he is a liar and I beleive he has always acted in what he beleives are the clubs best interests. I also think we have a lot to be grateful to him for

On Moyse, my stance is that he did a very good job at Everton and I would also dispute another of your "facts" in that I think we played some excellent football under him and were not just a "hoofball" side. He has given Martinez an excellent platform to build on, but he is now Man Utds manager so I couldnt care less about him.

I thought he was utter garbage and a waste of any loan fee, and isn't worth a fraction of the reported 20 million. He'll never get a starting place in Chelsea as long as he has 2 feet so Jose was right to get shut of him as quickly as he did. Come January, we will need to make sure he doesn't try and fob us off with a silly 5 million deal plus Mata.

Yes it's annoying, but let them keep talking about the rest while we go about our business quietly. We tend to mess things up when people talk us up.

Over 38 games a club that relies on the first core 11 staying fit and not having their defence decimated is going to face the trap door with more certainty than a Sunderland who have many average players who can replace...

A cup competition is an indication of a team and managers potential and mentality, the league finish is an indication of a clubs stability.

Martinez beat Man City using tactics, the same way that he got wigan to beat us. A winning mentality.

In fact I think I remember the real Messi saying a couple of years back that he had received an offer from Everton and was seriously considering joining the club but he thought Moyes was a tosser and because of that he stayed at Barca... See we are much better off now

Hey guys. Chelsea fan here in peace.

I think the biggest thing Everton need to challenge for a top four place consistently is the ability to spend big amounts of money.

I really like the Everton team this year, but unfortunately, financially I don't think you'd be able to compete with the likes of us, City, United, Arsenal, and even Liverpool who spent quite a lot.

Until Everton has the platform to make £20m/£30m signings on a regular basis, I feel that you won't compete for top four regularly, simply because everyone else around you outspends you, but because of your manager (really rate Martinez) and the way the club is run excellently, always coming up with these shrewd buys, you will always be around.

    Regards

About Martins Indi. His favorite position is centre back, but he's left footed and can also play left back. He's big, strong and really fast. He could be a long-term successor for Sylvain Distin, they're quite similar in their talents on the defensive side of the ball. It would be a shame buying him to have him sat on the bench all year though. Maybe we could get a discount if we loan him back to them for the season so they don't need to hurry getting a replacement in?

Heh... saw this on FB: To try and influence our performance and give the team more flair for this weekend Everton have decided to give our players nicknames like the Brazilian team. Jelavic - Jelavico Barkley - Barkleyo Osman - Osmano Naismith - Forfucksakeno

I am amazed at how people seem to think this passing style is completely new, and that all Moyes ever did was get the back to launch it up front. We did play attacking, passing football under Moyes, probably as much as, if not more than, hoofball. Remember Mirallas goal end of last season (even the BBC recognized it, was up for goal of the month)? Remember being compared to Barcelona? Remember the 1st half of last season where we dominated teams with fluid attacking football? Remember Ossies goal against Larissa? Im cherry picking here but I could list hundreds of examples.

Hoofball came about because the players / management ran out of ideas against teams and resorted to punting it long (which has more chance of scoring than passing back and forth between the back 2) in the hopes it would get a break. It wasnt pretty, but sometimes it is necessary.

The only difference Ive seen is more caution and patience in build up and the obvious, that Barkley is going to be the heartbeat of the team and is the creative, driving force weve missed since Arteta. Dont get me wrong, I still think RM is the man for the job but I refuse to acknowledge this is all new, because it just isnt.

marcus jones reacted to Steve_E in Fellaini & Baines joint bid
I have long been of the opinion that if one of them goes it should be Fellaini, but I've changed my mind. As good as Baines is, he's a 28 year old left back (turning 29 in December). With our sell-to-buy-necessity, it just would not make sense to turn down a good offer. We have already been drained of sellable assets in recent years with Rodwell and Arteta going among others. The squad is aging, will need major revamping over the next couple of years and who are we going to sell in order to get the money neccesary to do so? We are not going to be raking in big money selling Darron Gibson, Phil Jagielka is 31 and won't be bringing in a lot either, Jelavic won't either unless he improves massively this season.

In two years timee, Baines won't be worth 10m, Fellaini will still get us a lot of money. And he'll be the only one. Coleman and Mirallas might still grab us a nice figure but not enough to adequately replace themselves and replace Distin and Osman and Hibbert and other possible retirees. And I don't want to sell Barkley.
