Sibdane reacted in Nathan Redmond
For anyone has played football manager he turns into a top player and goes for 20 mil plusfter a couple of seasons, i mean alot of teams use the game as a scouting system as it seems to get some things right at 2 mil i say it would be worth a punt.
Seen him play a thew times and we need a young pacy winger dont want to fall behind with lots of other clubs building for the future

Sibdane reacted to StevO in Baines
If we want to attract good players to the club, the likes of Honda, what does it say if we let Baines go?
We need to make a show of strength here, back the manager who will want to keep Baines, and tell the world he is not for sale at any price. Offer the lad a damn good contract, he deserves it. We have bent over to keep Arteta in the past, and Baines is far more important to our team than he was.
We have one of the best left backs in the world, we need to add to him.
This could be a massive bit of PR for Bill too. If he gets Baines onto a new five year deal to secure his prime years, and tell the world we only sell who we want to sell, he might win a few fans.

Yeah you make a good point just worrying about the dough. Swap for Naismith?

Sibdane reacted to Bailey in New Kit 2013-14
I will certainly be keeping my hands in my pocket on this occasion. I really dislike these standard designs that the big manufacturers use. We are an individual club and if the designers at Nike cant be bothered to come up with something original then they should be told to f*** off.

Sibdane reacted to Avinalaff in New Kit 2013-14
It was good of them to make sure we got to see it before it was leaked 6 months ago.

Sibdane got a reaction from Romey 1878 in Wilfried Bony
I know it's early, but I'm already feeling that "left behind" feeling regarding transfers.

Sibdane reacted to RuffRob in Baines talks up "progressive" Martinez
he didn't need to say anything at all if he had any designs at all to move on from Everton this summer. So really positive hearing this. I don't think a single fan would like to see us cash in on him.
offer Baines the best wages we possibley can and get him on a contract that will keep him at the club for the rest of his career - that would be one of our best signings this transfer window. He deserves it for both his ability, consistency and attitute towards the club, I would rather see this type of player be rewarded for his hard work and loyalty to the club than bring somebody in for big money and big wages.
A left back creating the second most chances in europe last season - he is worth his weight in gold to the team. Is there another left back in world football you would swap him with?

Doesn't sound like a guy seeking or anticipating a transfer anytime soon.

Sibdane reacted to BlueBlood81 in Our priority signings ?
I think we are crying out for a second striker or "number 10" personally.
Someone to supply the ammo.

Sibdane reacted to JoeQuince in Arouna Kone
If we play good football and provide Jela some service, he will score more than Kone is capable of. He had an off year. No use in signing Kone. Either we get somebody for the future, or we splash the cash (har har har) on somebody with a guaranteed 20 goals in them. Kone isn't worth any of the prices quoted to us. I don't think he's shite. Just think that he would need to be in an entirely different contract situation to be feasible for us to sign.

Sibdane reacted to duncanmckenzieismagic in Nathan Redmond
This
It is true that teams have sussed out the Baines/Piennar combination but they have only managed to nullify it by overloading on that side of the pitch. They could get away with that for most of last season because we were so one dimensional however with Mirallas /Coleman now fit and bombing down the right teams wont be able to do that anymore
-
Sibdane reacted to Sideliner in In-depth Martinez interview
Martinez must be given credit for the fact that Wigan had the 6th most possession and the 8th best pass success in the PL last season - in both categories above Everton - with a weak side that eventually just got relegated

Sibdane reacted to Matt in Marouane Fellaini
exactly. Last I heard from him was the same as BK & RM said - he's happy where he is and noone is expecting him to go. Since then its crappy websites and worse "journalists" bandying about the same old rehashed shite without a single quote from the man with the Fro or anyone else for that matter. I want him to stay, but wont be too disappointed if he goes (would rather he went abroad though, if he does)
Im thinking he will stay 1 more season and see if Martinez makes a difference. Maybe he'll leave in January if hes not being played where he wants to be and/or where we are in the tables/cups.

Sibdane reacted to GoodisonRoad in Aiden McGeady
http://www.blueheartbluesoul.co.uk/#!everton-to-get-mcgeady-in-4m-deal/c1ina
Probably a load of bollox but if we get McGeady for £4m with Redmond going for half that i will be seriously pissed off!

Sibdane reacted to Avinalaff in Keisuke Honda
btw .... top 'drawer' is the correct terminology.
No need to have a wardrobe over it.

Sibdane reacted to Vranny in Marouane Fellaini
He'd eat up Baines' crosses that's for sure. Much more of a beast in the air than Jela and much more clinical with his head than anyone else in our squad. Could be an interesting option for us.

Think it's called blind optimism .
I like a bit of that.

He looks great on here. Close thread quickly before other teams see it.

Sibdane reacted to Hafnia in Fixture list.
The start IMO gives Martinez the ideal opportunity to create belief. Let the players go and express themselves in the way he wants them to against opposition that should give us more ability to do so. Once you have belief, you get the confidence and from there it's momentum. Not surprisingly, he is a manager who seems to generate alot of momentum. Wigan have often gone on great runs against all odds.

Sibdane reacted to Shukes in The burning question everybody wants to answer
I really think if we make two of the right signings we can make the top four.
Our problem last season was that we had a mediocre mid deason. With the end we had we were just unlucky that no team in the top four had a slip.
If we killed teams of last season after outplaying them for 60 minutes we would have finished toip four. I think RM is the man who will go for the jugular.

Sibdane reacted to RuffRob in Bosman watch
Jelevic is not the first striker to lose a goal scoring touch under Moyes - Not sure why Moyes has such a hoodoo on prolific goal scorers, midfeilders do well in front of goal, but not one full season of a prolific striker in 11 years. Given Jelevic's recorded before last season, I wouldn't rule him out just yet, especially with a different manager and modified playing system - he could well fly again.
