This is very squeaky bum
Was nowhere near as bad as it has been last season. Feels like were growing in confidence with regards to game management.

great finish that. assist for iwobi as well, he deserves that
Has played a few of those balls this season. They're really effective if the striker is switched on.

Maupay's had some neat touches
Certainly has!

Maybe Patterson would be a better choice than Gray for free kicks?
We desperately need someone in the team capable of taking set pieces.

Happy Dom is given another couple of weeks to rest. I feel like he's been brought in far too early when he's returned from injuries last season

I also think he will contribute to a few goals this season. He's already played some clever passes which deserved a goal with nobody able to finish them. With Dom and Maupay in the picture now hopefully we can start scoring some more.
I know everyone is aware of his vast improvement, but on top of that I absolutely love watching him play. He's energetic, skillful, hard working and composed.
I remember Everton did a YouTube clip a couple of seasons ago asking players who the most skillful player was in the squad, and most said Iwobi. I couldn't see it at all but this season he's pulling off some prime Ronaldinho shit off at times.

Watched the Villa Southampton game tonight. Fuck me that's an hour and a half I'll never get back. Worst game I've seen in years, and I watch our shite week in week out.

If there is one position you don't want an academy player featuring in their first professional game in the Premier League, it's between the sticks!

You reckon? I imagine most had forgotten he was still here until this rumour came up.
I think so yeah, a couple of injuries and he will be in the starting line up. Plus if we sell him that's one less option to come off the bench. I'm more bothered about numbers than his quality, or lack there of.

We need him until we replace him. The forward line would be too thin without him.

Wonder if we will play West Ham next Sunday then. Surly we will. I won't comment further on the queen passing, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything" and all that.

With international break it could only be for 3 games. He's hugely important to us, but as others have said we have a competent back up in Begovic. It would be very very unlucky were he to also get injured in that time.

I hope you are correct. Potter already being mentioned.
They need the opposite to a Potter. If he gets offered the job I hope he turns it down.

The little roulette spin that he pulled off out on the side line was class. He's playing with such confidence now.
I remember the players being interviewed awhile ago and they all named Iwobi as the most skillful player. I hadn't seen it up until the end of last season.

Continuing to show why he's the best signing we've made in years.

All the players on the pitch today did really well, especially Pickford, Patterson and Iowbi.

Really want to give it to Patterson but I can't not give it to Pickford.

Just got out of bed (it's been a long week so deserved a lie in)... Can't wait for my weekend to be ruined too.

I wonder last season how many times the squad made more than 27 attacking third passes let alone one player.
