Hafnia
Haf, I had an almost identical experience except that my outcome was that I hammered it into the top corner. I was reminded about it years after... That's how bad it was. From goal of the season to miss of the century.

Hafnia
I like the look of rose. Vardy is great, so quick.

MikeO
Barkley looks good tonight. Came into it after a slow start. Lovely Ball from Stones in the build-up to the goal. How does Milner get a game?
johnh
I didn't see the England starting team. At 30 minutes the commentator mentioned Barkley and I didn't know he was playing. He improved in the last 15 minutes.
Romey 1878
Barkley looks good tonight. Barely noticed him at all until towards the end of the half, as Mike and John have said. He's coming deep for England like he does for us, needs to do most of his work further up. I know it's because he's looking to get involved but he's ineffective. Hafnia
Barkley great run. Brilliant. Stones get a grip...

He improved in the last 15 minutes. He's being tightly marked, the Dutch know how good he is. Brilliant run like Haf just pointed out, Lallana should've done better. Definitely a pen imo, should be their second.

Hafnia
That is why I would play barkley as a deeper player. He builds up momentum and once he's moving it's difficult to stop him Stones was unlucky to a degree there.

He builds up momentum and once he's moving it's difficult to stop him Stones was unlucky to a degree there. He doesn't do it enough though. He's too happy to just play a safe pass backwards, he's much better than that and needs to realise it. Alli's his competition and he is anything but safe. He's got to fight for that starting place and it's about time he did it.
Romey 1878
Barkley with half-hearted defence, Jags fouled, Netherlands take the lead.

Hafnia
That's what's so good about kane. Had nothing on, tried to run it lost it then won it back.

Romey 1878
Drinkwater MOTM? Hoddle on drugs? And people want him as our manager . I'd be tempted to put money on relegation for any team that he came back to manage.

johnh
3 out of 10 refs may have given the first penalty. 9 out of 10 (and we had the 10th tonight) would have given a free kick prior to the second.

I'd call it five out of ten and 99 out of 100 .
