EFC-Paul
Cresswell and Noble must be scratching their head looking at who gets picked ahead of them. Antonio should have been picked aswel, not a big fan of Noble tbh but on performances he should have gone ahead of Benderson and Milhouse

MikeO
No and No. Thought not, they both had great careers but never got close to 1.5 a game ratio. Must be someone with a short career or early in the career of someone who went on to play more. Tough one. Frank Worthington? Barely played for England and possibly after Alf's time. MikeO
One of ours? Ha! Just a thought given the wording, could it have been an England international Ipswich player who he dropped at club level before he was England boss? Trick question? Brings me no closer to the answer though . rubecula

johnh
The answer is Mike O'Grady (Huddersfield/Leeds United) He played twice for England, scoring 2 against Norther Ireland and then several years later played against France at Wembley scoring again. 3 goals in two games, never selected again. rubecula

rubecula
If he starts it may boost the price we get for him ... maybe a pound or two .... but not much and the sooner he is away or says publicly he will stay, the better for everyone. Lowensda
Started well. Went shaky once Turkey equalised. Kane should not be taking free kicks. Awful. Defensively we're shite.

johnh
Oh and Jack Wisthireshsone is bollocks. Such an over hyped player, it's embarrassing. Yes, I agree. The problem is he is probably Hodgson's first pick, even before Rooney.

What's stupid is, it forces people to get hammered outside of town, potentially risk driving in with a skin full to last the match.

Fans will just relocate as you say.
MikeO
This continues to annoy me, remember discussing it at the time. "England got away with one"? It was clearly offside in the build-up so if the goal had been given it would have been, "Ukraine have got away with one" but that was completely brushed aside due to the goal-line hysteria. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36304274

MikeO
The alcohol ban isn't true btw. Fans just can't drink on the streets. The BBC article has been changed accordingly, now says "Alcohol will only be allowed in the fan zone." Did they change the decision or was it just mis-reported? Any idea?
