Bailey
Seems that all that was necessary to get Jelavic going was the threat of being deported to West Ham That made me laugh! Quinn31

Peter H
Jelavic missed penalty and Colemans goal together just brought a tear to my eye. And that miss just now!! I love listening to football on the radio, so much more tension
Sibdane
Definitely think Vellios should get a run out today.

Gwlad
Just wondered why no Baines in today's squad, do Man U not want him cup-tied? Edited January 4, 2014 by Gwlad all over
markjazzbassist
Damn, why didn't Vellios come on for 10min? i think we're trying to showcase Jelavic for the Transfer Window.
msloan78
Brilliant result that. They are a premiership side in all but name with some of the players they've got there. Kranjcar, Onouha, Assou Ekotto (?), Onyewu Couldn't have asked for anymore I think, and used our squad really well. markjazzbassist
JoeQuince
Just wondered why no Baines in today's squad, do Man U not want him cup-tied? I'm guessing he's the one player who really needed some rest. Came back from injury, played two games, is still getting his feet under him again, and Roberto felt fully confident in Oviedo to handle the day. I really don't think he's going to ManUre this month. markjazzbassist
thanks for the radio feed and link. great to hear the game, so happy for the big 4-0 win. sounded like everyone had a great game but especially stones, alcaraz, barkley, jelavic, and the center mids (mccarthy, barry). the confidence boost will be nice heading into the match with norwich. badaids
who made that rule? and why? Further responses, I think that it is a rule that remains from the earliest days of televised football. The clubs were worried that footy on TV would totally stop ALL people coming to matches if it were televised live on a saturday. I think it's a bit of an anachronism today, a bit like the old 'pubs had to close at 11' rule to stop wartime workers boozing it up.

duncanmckenzieismagic
Anyone know what sort of reception AJ got when he came on? He got a very good reception, Street end even chanted his name
duncanmckenzieismagic
Ok dunc, based on this comment being repeated... you may just need to explain it.... its gotta be good. ah now I see, yeah his press conference. TBH I see no problem with that side, Robles and Jelavic being included isn't going to be a "weakened" team. Should have enough! Lol sorry I was inside the ground and sending it from my phone but didnt think it had gone through
