Joel. If he didn't save that penalty, and if he didn't have a few other major interventions, this game would've looked very different.

Honorable mentions to Ross, Rom, Cleverley, Lennon and Oviedo. All were really good today.

Robles for the penalty save. He had one cross he came for and missed but apart from that he was superb and got all the big moments right. Goalkeepers win matches with big saves, he did that today.

Barry. What a class act.

this for me but Joel deserves a massive shout.

Thought McCarthy really picked up second half. The only bad player was Rom though he still managed to score (his lack of celebration spoke volumes to me)

I thought the celebration was more 'let's not fuck this one up this time'.

Joel for me for giving us something to build on. Agree with Barry and thought Barkley was always a threat.

I went with Robles.

Brilliant penalty save...and it wasn't exactly a shit penalty. It was fully pelted!

He also commands his area well, comes off his line smartly and seems to communicate well with his players.

Confidence grows in this bloke with each game. And I'm sure his confidence is boosting too.

Oviedo done very well against Iturbe, was noticble that Bournemouth switched their focus to the opposite side when they actually bothered to go forward.

Yes and I thought Coleman was a liability today. Didn't offer much in attack , crosses were awful, and was constantly being beaten by King.

Completely agree. He must have had cold legs.

Commentator on BBC gave it to lukaku, I'm not sure who he was but I'd give it to barry, he seems to get better with age. Robles another clean sheet, no goals concedes in the cup so far.

Joel for me, not only because of his own performance but because of the calmness and composure he seems to give the back four.

Just might have saved 20 million quid as well as a penalty with that performance- might not need to buy a new 'keeper in the summer if he continues playing like that.
