Gerrard was quite lucky Arsenal didn't put the ball in the back of the net a whole lot more in that first half. He has had a decent squad of players to work with since he has been at Villa, which he added to in January and early in this transfer window. It's easy to argue he has done very little with it all since his appointment, and squad does not sound as harmonious as it could be.
