It's actually a strange rumour because he just joined them.He's stated he's going nowhere from what I've just read but the site then said this of his teammate.. Sebastian Prodl announced today that he would be leaving the club in the summer when his contract expires at the club. He is quoted by Kreiszeitung.de as stating: "I had a fantastic time at Werder and I've got an incredible amount to thank the club for, but I would just like to try a fresh challenge in the coming season." Prodl is a 27-year-old Austrian international with 44 caps for his nation. A tall and surprisingly athletic defender he is certainly an adequate alternative to Vestergaard. The defender has been a regular in the Bremen side throughout his seven years at the club and would be a great signing for any Premier League team, especially on a free transfer. Everton need at least one new centre-back, with Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz set to leave on free transfers in the summer. Instead of splashing £7 million on Vestergaard, they could take Prodl for free.
