Feels odd to vote defender when I thought our midfield pressing is what separated us today but every time they found a way to break through jarrod was there to shut it down. We mention him being a Stones in the making, but I see a lot of Jags in him. Lad is going to be a top top player. Midfield can all share the plaudits today. Was worried when I saw the line up, but they were brilliant. It’s been a long time since I watched an Everton team string 20+ passes together through the middle.
