Went branthwaite, but almost everyone showed up today. Feels odd to vote defender when I thought our midfield pressing is what separated us today but every time they found a way to break through jarrod was there to shut it down. Incredible how sharp he is.

Tough one. 
But Branthwaite stood out for me. Three head injury’s and the guy still kept throwing himself in front of things.

We mention him being a Stones in the making, but I see a lot of Jags in him. Lad is going to be a top top player.

Midfield can all share the plaudits today. Was worried when I saw the line up, but they were brilliant. It’s been a long time since I watched an Everton team string 20+ passes together through the middle.

Definitely McNeil for me, he caused them problems all night and it was a great finish to set the ball rolling. He is definitely a confidence player and you could see he had a bit of swagger back after scoring against Forest last week so last nights performance will have done him the world of good

McNeil. Everyone was good, but when McNeil took the ball off Trippier and stormed for the goal, I think that boosted us to grab more.
