Every time we clear our lines Lukaku either loses the 50/50 challenge or just gives Arsenal the ball back. Our defence are therefore reluctant to hit the long ball when they should as they know it will just come straight back at them again. Against arsenal, everton have a lot of possession the first twenty minutes, every chance is fizzled out through lack of energy and quick thinking only for us to fall away and them to run away with the game. And every same negative point is hidden with the same shit "we were always in the game" "dropped off with concentration for a split second" boring now. Our midfield are all standing around with their thumbs up their asses. None of them are moving off the ball. It's lazy and it's disgusting. Hopeless long balls to Lukaku when nobody is doing anything to support him are useless. We've got no direction. I feel like Besic needs to come off for Gibson. We don't seem to have done much with it though as we only had two shots, neither on target. Arsenal had seven with less possession. Once the Gunners got firing, they went from 0 shots to 7. And scored of course. Cutting through us too easily. Lukaku's having one of those games where our attacks break down at the point of the ball getting to him. Not sure what else to say. Lukaku has become an Everton forward at a very fortunate time, you can be shit at football if you put the ball in the back of the net from 18 yards - you don't ewven have to control the friggin thing, you can miss 10 chances the previous game and all is forgiven if you are johnny of the sport and tap one home.
