Richarlison was man of the match. However Gomes changed the game. Gomes, Allan Doucoure please!!!

Nobody is bigger than the club. After tonight’s performance maybe this will wake Lucas up. There is more from him that we aren’t getting
-
Gray a cut above
-
He needs to go before the next game. Get out of this club. Now

1 win in 10.
Despite the obvious problems at the club, any manager should be doing better than the current run of form. At the moment we're nailed on for a relegation scrap (which I don't think we would survive) which is way below what this squad isn't capable.
I've said it many times, Benitez isn't the biggest problem but he's a massive one and should have ideally IMO left a few weeks ago. Sacking him in the morning would make me feel a lot better, especially as I'm sitting in the ground (bar tonight) putting up with this shit football and toxicity.
If he doesn’t go before January we will go
down!

If we sack Benitez it will be a mistake. Whoever we get will have exactly the same set of players, with exactly the same transfer funds and exactly the same problems we have now. Our reputation will be deminished even further as we will cement our reputation as a knee jerk crisis club.
A new manager will want players to play in a new way, need more time to get them to adjust. More confusion and delay.
We have to give Benitez time to sort these problems out, sell players to raise cash and solve the obvious problems we have. To get players back from injury and to continue training the squad in what he wants.
Are you F ing serious? London blue? Leg it. Clueless. 1 win in 10 but let’s keep him. My Nan could get those results. Meff

Worst run in 22 years. He HAS to go NOW.

No doubt there will be banners on Wednesday saying well done Raffa, you're doing a great job.
Agent Rafa it’ll be. Oh and they’ll have a song to go with it too. Let’s hope we don’t get a hide in as it will be very very ugly if we do.

Who do we bring in if Rafa is sacked. Who's the next stop-gap manager?
Believe me this appointment isn’t working and won’t work. It is completely wrong on all accounts. I wasn’t bothered about him being an ex Kopite.
What I can clearly see though is it’s not working on and off the pitch and is highly highly unlikely ever too. The players look disinterested. It just shows how good a manager Ancelotti was that he had this group up the top end of the table virtually the whole season.
We are in serious trouble if this continues.

Does anybody genuinely see this as a long term appointment? Seriously?
-
Sadly I don’t see this being long term.
It really seems like we’re in a period where we aren’t likely to be moving forward any time soon. Benitez is here to drive the ship through a period of mediocrity whilst the owners/board decide how/if they can build a successful team from scratch!
Right now the club has no identity. No leaders on the pitch and certainly no Everton players of old who’d run through brick walls for eachother. We’re in a bad bad way. Of course injuries to our better players aren’t helping and I’m sure when fit we can finish Between 10th & 14th. But that’s not good enough is it?
-
I thought it was a red to be honest. He followed through after he won the ball, was high and studs showing. Also it came moments after Hojberg took the ball off him in the middle of the pitch which allowed Spurs to counter, I think that’s where the intent came from.
Although I watched the West Ham game and Cresswells was identical and went unpunished

Tactics in first half completely wrong. Yes he rectified it in the second half but that first half was scary. I have no hesitation in saying (other than away derbies) that was the worst 45 mins I’ve ever seen Everton play in my 33 years.
Unless we get DCL, Doucoure, Digne & Mina back sharpish I can see us being dragged into lower half obscurity.

You not think Gbamin played well? You’ve not mentioned it
Regardless of the time he’s spent out he was utterly utterly atrocious. We played with 10 men with a massive gaping hole in midfield.
-
Allan,
Delph did really well but overly highlighted because of how poor Gbamin was. Gbamin should never play again.
-
My oh my. Possibly the worst ever performance in a blue shirt. This guy is bad.
-
One positive - not as bad as Gbamin
-
Anyone in this group “pretending” Tom Davies is at premiership footballer level needs to have a word with themselves.
Just how long can he get away with being a fraud?
Coleman is the least of our worries with this lad in the squad!

I’m a big fan of his. But without the right partner he’ll be exposed as he just not quick enough over 5 yards. Doucoure helps him a lot.

Coleman is a bit of a tit in all honesty. We laugh at the likes of Robertson and Henderson for being fake hard men but Seamus is in that category for me.
Disagree, probably the only one who actually cares.

We can’t carry on giving him a contract because he’s an academy player and he has long blonde hair.
It must be the same people who offered Jose Baxter a 12 month contract after he was released by Sheff Utd. That season he hardly played for the 23s through injury and Unsworth offered him another 12 month contract. It was Jose’s own dignity that rejected it. He knew himself he wasn’t worth it. Tom should do the same. Watch Jose’s latest podcast on YouTube - I kid you not Kenwright and Unsworth were throwing out contracts for fun.
