Laughing my plums off here. If you ever needed to understand the depth that Bill had manipulated the press to do his bidding in his time at the club - it’s all showing now.
Dominic king sensationalising a club in “chaos” cos the board are getting jettisoned and an ex manager is suing us due to what is no doubt more mid management.
he does a hit piece in the mail and blustered his way through an interview on talksport. They are trying to make out we are in disarray because of the change that is needed to correct the disarray! Just unbelievable

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Goodison Glory in Board/Owners Related Stuff
Maybe they've been a shambles because our recruitment has been pathetic....and by all accounts almost nothing to do with the manager in several instances.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Romey 1878 in Board/Owners Related Stuff
Well done to each and every fan that has pushed for this change by the way, no matter how big or small the action.
Often faced with anger and ridicule from their fellow fans, on the end of a smear campaign from the club as well, but they carried on pushing for a better Everton and now we're on our way to that hopefully.
👏👏👏

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Romey 1878 in Summer news for 23/24 season - kits/friendlies/fixtures
The first of many fan made kits that will be better than the official ones .

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to London Blue in Ben Godfrey
Godfrey is a good center back, however he has played all over the back 4 in the last 2 seasons, and until Tarks came has not had a dominant centre back to learn from. He needs a run of games in his best position, as centre back, to develop.
Under Dyche he can kick on if given the chance.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Palfy in Transfer Targets for 23-24
How did Holgate manage to secure himself 70k a week, it’s fucking embarrassing the amount of money we’ve been lavishing on some players, he wouldn’t be offered anywhere near that anywhere else. It really fucking annoys me how wasteful this club has been.

Replacing one sicknote with another.
I do not like this.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Wiggytop in Transfer Targets for 23-24
I’m not saying it’s the only place we should be looking, but it’s highly likely we won’t have money to splash around, and we don’t seem to have the ability to recruit like Brighton and Brentford atm, I wish we did, as probably do all teams in the PL, it’s not a flick a switch and it will happen process, so we need to be realistic as to where we are.
We were nearly relegated, we have England’s No1, it’s widely reported he’s wanted by a number of clubs, there are a few good opportunities to pick up players who will add to the quality of our squad that the relegated clubs will need to offload due to wages, again it could have been us having to offload our best.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to c1982 in Transfer Targets for 23-24
We need players with pace, strength, work rate and leadership - they obviously need to have the quality but we need to be realistic of where we are. Outgoings will be key - how do we get rid of Gomes, Gbamin, Alli, Maupay, Holgate and Keane? Probably £500k in wages every week there. Give me more McNeil/ Garner type signings - good age, probably not breaking the bank, resale and most importantly quality.

Once Everton has touched you... you're a victim forever.

It's just a game.. right? ..WRONG. if I'm awake I'm thinking of Sunday. Been playing game in my head over and over. Crazy how this club has a hold over me. Add I'm American. I should not be this hooked but I am.
Come on you Blues! One time... please..one time

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Goodison Glory in Dominic Calvert-Lewin
At least we (Dyche) knows early. The whole week can be around creating improvements with the personnel we've got.
Personally, I would play Gray. Best of a bad set of options.

We still haven't fucking replaced Lukaku for fucks sake, we won't replace Dom any time soon.

Leeds deserve to go down for this alone.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to StevO in Tom Davies
It’s a shame no manager ever used that attacking freedom ever again, and he became very stifled in the middle and eventually had no attacking threat at all. He should have been nurtured into being a very good player. Victim of too many managers and none with enough time to mould him into something useful.
Wish him all the best.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to duncanmckenzieismagic in André Gomes
IF, and that’s a huge big fuck off if, he has got his mojo back he would walk into our team next season
Although it’s more likely that he is excelling in France due to the slower pace of the game there

Good lord, can we just avoid relegation first this is far from over. Let’s revisit on May 28.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Wiggytop in Sean Dyche
Dyche needs some credit for the way he has managed DC! back to fitness and into the side, he resisted the urge to rush him back and risk further injury.
-
AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Cornish Steve in Sean Dyche
Sean Dyche is doing a decent job. The real issue is the same as it's been all season: We've had no proven striker. You can't expect to sell Richarlison and Gordon without bringing in effective replacements and hope to do well.
