Holgate looks a lot better for what it’s worth.

Probably too kind to call Mykolenko a mixed bag at this point. Still not writing him off, but haven’t seen him do anything particularly well at this point and he just looks extremely nervous out there.

He's such a yo-yo player. Will look absolutely shit for a stretch of games and then have one or two where he looks quality. Never doubted his ability, it's his mentality and attitude. Maybe Lampard can get something more out of him

But the main difference is if it doesn't work out its not going to cost us a kings ransom. Massive difference and it take a bif of pressure of the club, manager and player a bit. 

 

This is why the summer appointment was a stupid decision. We needed unity then and Moshiri threw a bomb on that straight away. A truly idiotic move on his part. 

What is refreshing - is reading how positive pretty much everybodies post are towards Lampard.
So unity and genuine enthusiasum from the 99% fans is massive. If this is also going on behind closed doors this squad should now be re energised. 
 

God I hope it doesn't take 4 games. We need to pick up at least 5 points from the first three league games, probably more like 6-7.  Those three are against Newcastle, Leeds, and Southampton. After that, we have a 9 game stretch including matches against City, Tottenham, West Ham, Man U, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

Christian Eriken is a new signing for Brentford, expect he'll be on the bench having not played in a long time.  Good to see him back and a good signing for Brentford if he can stay healthy and get back to half the player he was for Spurs

I think we over worry about our first 11. One of our problem has been lack of decent quality people coming off the bench, when games are streched and legs are tired. That could just as easily be Grey or Richarlison coming of the bench.
Gordon fits in fine. Richarlison maybe off in the no so distant.
I really do see El Ghazi struggling for game time, unless more injuries rear their head again. Its not that he is a bad player, there is just more of our own ahead of him. 

Where he fits in, like the rest of them, is work harder, impress in training, create more, score more, win more games, and you keep your place. If you don’t then someone will take it from you. 
 
When we’ve won one game in about four months I don’t think many players can be considered key players for us. 

I would like to Lampard bring somebody from his Chelsea connection to come in at the U23 and get first team squad and U23 better aligned. 
Not a bad thing that Ferguson is around for a month or so while Lampard beds in, but think Ferguson should really grab the opertunity to manage a club if that option is available to him.
