Haiku got a reaction from markjazzbassist in Richarlison
He's a real gem. I wish he would stay with us for years to come.

Haiku got a reaction from Matt in Man of the Match Polls
Best of luck, Mike! I hope Everton will cheer you up during your stay at the hospital with a few very decisive wins! COYB

Haiku got a reaction from Bailey in Abdoulaye Doucouré
Tough guy and good with the feet. Him and Allan will be bossing the midfield I reckon with James creating chances out of nowhere. Very exited about the season ahead. I hope luck will be on our side too.

Haiku got a reaction from Matt in Carlo Ancelotti
We could, but it lies in Anchelotti's hands whether we should call him The Professor.

Haiku reacted to Aidan in Gareth Barry
Has announced his retirement from football today. What a player and what a career he had. I'd give anything to have a Barry in our midfield right now.

Haiku got a reaction from London Blue in Jonjoe Kenny
Good lad. I hope it will work out for him this season and proves he got what it takes to play for Everton.

he tore up the league at real sociedad on a 2 year loan, so much so that they cut it short and he's come back now. great player there.

Haiku got a reaction from Bailey in Jean-Philippe Gbamin
Oviedo, Coleman and Gomes injuries were impact fractures. Gbamin's injuries tend to be chronic and repetitive, as are most muscle and tendon injuries. There's a high chance he will get more of them, which is a concern. Also from medical understanding muscle injuries impair the function of the muscle so that it can never recover to the state it was before.

Haiku reacted to Matt in Longest Thread! for Everton Discussion
Makes me sad and angry that this “issue” is still around. The sooner people refer to people as people rather than anything else, the better.

And I'm starting to question Marcel Brands qualities.

Haiku reacted to RuffRob in Ciro Immobile
think best leave him where he is - apparently couldn't hack the faster pace in Germany and then did even worst in Spain - as good as he is in Italy it doesn't sounds like he travels well. As a current challenger for this seasons European golden boot we would have to be paying significant transfer fee and big wages for him this summer - if he did flop on his travels again, next summer we would be stuck with a 31 year old on massive wages. Even though we have been offloading some, we still have too many dead weight players on massive wages that nobody is going to buy from us. Do we really want to risk adding another.
The problem with a lot of the signings we have been making since Moshiri has arrived is that we want to run before we can actually walk. Do we really have the basics of a team to make best use of a prolific goal scorer in the later part of his career? Our current strikers have lived on scrapes and in some games see very little of the ball. How would Immobile perform in our current team . We need to have a team capable of consistently creating to before we spend a load of money and wages on a player looking for his last big contract!!! money would have be the only motivation for him to come to us, the 12th placed team in the Premier league.

Haiku got a reaction from Chach in Corona Virus
That is simply a speculation which is most certainly false. Coronaviruses are not mutating as rapidly as influenza. They are known since 1960's and God knows since how long they exist and how many times they jumped on a human population in the past. There is a reason coronaviruses haven't become seasonal so far, and for the same reason chances are Covid-19 won't become seasonal either.

Guys, you better prepare to stay at home for the rest of the year at least. This thing is not going to disappear in a few weeks.

Haiku reacted to pete0 in Carlo Ancelotti
He got us 8th with a much worse squad. We'd be in a much better position had we kept him. Much rather we kept him until Ancelotti was available than endure the absolute fraud that is Marco Silva.

Haiku got a reaction from Matt in Jordan Pickford
I've seen
This. GK learning curve is a lot longer than regular outfield players. Generally speaking they peak after the age of 28, and many even after 30. Very few are considered world class at younger age like Alisson, Ederson and Oblak, but still all of them are a bit older and are playing at top clubs with superior defenders in front of them. Surely one makes less mistakes when fewer chances are presented to him. I'm pleased with Jordan. His shot stopping is one of the best, which shows his raw talent. He lacks in distribution and command of area, but these improve with experience and maturing. In couple of years we will see him getting at higher standards, even more so if we manage to improve the rest of the team. As of now, he's doing just fine. There are many other things to worry about really. Looking for a new first choice goalkeeper shouldn't be in our priorities in the foreseeable future.
