markjazzbassist
23 years old (turns 24 in sept), ivory coast international, played for RC Lens in France helping them get promoted to Ligue 1 and then got signed by Mainz in Germany. Aidan
Loads going round in twitter saying he is going to be Ganas replacement. Seeing as we also need a CB it could be either really. Don't know anything about him.
Sibdane
He seems like a decent player based on some other stuff I've read and would definitely be a Gana replacement.
Haiku
He looks decent on Football Manager. Apparently had a good season with Mainz. Definitely a Gana replacement, capable even playing as CD. Actually his original position was CD if I remember correctly, but obviously was used as a centre mid at Mainz with success.

Btay
Started watching some videos on him. Looks decent enough - athletic, long passes off his right and left, drives forward and 1.86m tall so will add for set pieces.
chicagoblue
Based on a most cursory review, long range passing: decent; short range passing: hospital balls; tackling: good positioning, needs to be harder; athleticism: looks strong and fast. Overall still quite raw, will be a step down from Gana's efficiency no doubt.

As I look at him more I wonder if he's our CB and not the Gana replacement. He seems a bit sloppy with his close control when he's dribbling but he has a lot of size and seems to like a long cross field pass. I'd be more confident with him in that role than DM based on the (admittedly little) I've watched.

Yeah I’ve no doubt they could do a lot with the money. Cautiously optimistic if he’s been brought in to play CB, white knuckling it if we are gonna use him as a midfielder. Bailey
Just watched a video on him and I think he looks a talented player. I get the feeling it might take him time to settle. He looks like a midfielder to me rather than a CB. I think he could be really good in the transitions as he is quick, has good close control and likes running with the ball whilst also being very capable in spraying passes to the wings or over the top. The curious thing in the video I watched was that there were very little shorter passes. There were no defence splitting balls or perfectly weighted ones. They were all aerial and 20 yards plus. Wpuld suggest to me either he isnt very good at it or he doesnt have the final ball quality. Defensively he looked sound enough from the small clips but you need to see the bigger pitcure for that. Based on what I just watched he looks a little like a cross between Gana and Schneiderlin. The deeper passing skills of the latter with the transitioning physical attributes of the former. If we do get him I just hope he makes better decisions when breaking forward.

Bailey
All his best clips show him running with the ball and spraying it forward so I expect him and Gomes to play in a similar way and making decisions on when to break and when to sit. Newty82
Never heard of him. So did the mandatory video search. I like how strong and athletic he looks. A lot of his tackles come from standing strong and nicking the ball away at just the right time. Seems to have a good run on him, and passing range. Only clips though, so.... If he does the job, then we've had a belter with selling Gana, at 30 year old, and replacing him for a guy who is 23 and slightly less cost.
